WEDNESDAY MARCH 13TH 2019 UPDATE ON GANGAA

The episode begins at Chautervedi's house as the Doctor gives medicine to Madhvi to give to Amma ji. Amma ji asks for Sagar in her semi-conscious state. Send him back Lord, I want Sagar back, Madhvi takes Ganga outside. Madhvi asks Ganga if she saw Amma ji’s state. Do something. Fulfil your promise. Bring Sagar home for a day. Ganga agrees. I will do whatever I can. Where is Babu? Madhvi replies that he went to Delhi to find some way. You promised to bring Sagar home. Amma ji and I trusted you. Do something. Bring him home atleast for a day. Ganga says it will happen. We will all try together and find a way. Calm down. You only have to take care of Amma ji. I will try my best to bring Sagar home. Madhvi says don’t try. Bring him back at any cost. Ganga promises her. Ganga thinks to apologize to Palash right away. I have to make him get Sagar bail somehow or Amma ji will die crying.
Palash disconnects Ganga’s calls. She thinks I know you are upset with me but please talk to me once. Don’t punish Sagar and Amma ji for my mistake. He cuts her call again. No, it wont be so easy for you to save Sagar. It wont happen the way you want. I will see how you save Sagar and bring him home.

Sabharwal reads a so called statement before Sagar. Sagar is made to sign on it. Inspector says you wrote it, not Sagar. Sabharwal nods. but whatever is written in it is Sagar’s version only. Sagar is about to sign it when Palash enters. He tells Sagar to stop. This is your suicide note made by Sabharwal. You yourself are a lawyer. How did you fall in their words? He reprimands them for forcing Sagar to sign any paper. Sagar says no one forced me. Palash insists he is his lawyer. You will sign the papers I will ask you to. Sagar feels they are right but Palash tells him to leave it on court. He tears the statement readied by Sabharwal. He tells Inspector that Sagar got parole for some time. He presents the papers to him. He tells Sagar he will have to go home for a while. Your Dadi is unwell. Sagar panics. Sagar leaves with Pulkit and two constables. Palash sits down with the Inspector to complete the formalities. Amma ji’s BP is very low. Doc speaks of giving her IV.

Madhvi requests Amma ji to eat something or she will become all the more weak. Amma ji keeps taking Sagar’s name. Doc leaves. Madhvi asks Ganga why she is still here. I told you to bring Sagar anyhow. Amma ji’s condition is worsening. Hope she does not die taking his name only. Ganga denies. I am thinking about that only. Pulkit says he is here. Madhvi is in tears to see Sagar finally home. She hugs him. Ganga is also surprised and teary eyed. Sagar coming back to the Chautervedi's house and Madhvi asks about his wounds. Where were you? Your Dadi isn’t eating anything. I cannot even cry. Don’t leave us now. We cannot live without you. He calms her down. I wont go anywhere now. Everything will be fine. Don’t cry before Dadi. He goes with her. Pulkit tells Ganga that he got parole for only a very short time. Ganga is surprised to know Palash did it. Pulkit tells her what he witnessed in the police station. Thank God Sagar is safe now or he could have fallen in a bigger problem. He goes. Ganga regrets doubting Palash. How could I make such a big mistake!

Amma ji is so happy to see Sagar home. How did you get these wounds? He helps her sit up. I am here only. It is nothing. She hugs him and kisses his cheeks. There must be so many problems that you would have faced in jail. I wont let you go anywhere now. He assures her. Promise me you wont say no to medicines. I cannot see my Dadi in this condition. She smiles. Why do I need medicines now! He still makes her promise him. Everyone gets emotional. Sagar makes her eat medicine. Amma ji tells MAdhvi to make Sagar’s favourite food daily. Pulkit is about to tell her truth but Sagar stops him. Sagar feeds food to his Dadi and vice versa. Ganga goes out of the room as she is unable to control herself. Ganga is sitting outside Palash’s house. He comes home finally. She profusely apologizes to him. I am worried for Sagar. I said all that in tension. He keeps ignoring her and goes inside. She follows him. I understand my mistake. I will be indebted to you for forever for what you have done for Sagar. Forgive me once. He calls it his duty.

I cannot fight this case anymore now. I am sorry. He hands over a file to her. She again requests him to forgive her once. He says trust is the basis of any relation, especially in our profession. I got to know how much you trust me. I would suggest you to hire some other lawyer. You wont get anything by working with me. Niru is a great judge. He can hire more expert lawyers than me. Why me then? I am not interested. She requeets him not to leave this case. I trust you completely. I regret saying what I said in anger. Please don’t leave this case. Only you can free Sagar. He talks of her self-esteem. You considered your self-esteem above everything always then why are you folding your hands before me today? Why are you doing this then? She replies that it isn’t more important than Sagar. I can do anything to save Sagar. He says time will tell about it. She agrees. Ganga can go to any extent, can do anything for her Sagar. You can even take my test if you want.
Palash keeps two conditions before her. You will never doubt or question me now.

You will have to believe it that I am doing it for your good only. Do you accept this? She is all quiet so he asks her again. Tell me if you have a little doubt even. I wont touch this case again. She promises him. He asks her to share anything related to the case with him. You wont hide anything. It may or may not be in Sagar’s favour. You wont hide it from me. She nods. He tells her to go home and question Sagar. Try to remind him what all happened that day. You don’t have too much time. He will have to go back at 9. Ask him every possible question you can think of. Find any clue which might help you get him out of the jail. The next hearing is far. Go now. She leaves.
Palash thinks Ganga is only a puppet now. I have your strings. You will do as I say now. Sagar is your weakness. I can make you do anything through his name. I will get all the proofs through you only which can prove Sagar innocent. I will keep destroying them all one by one so he can never be free. I will close all the doors to his freedom one by one. Your fight to free Sagar is going to cost you badly. It’s not going to be easy. Remember that!

Sagar is with Amma. She has fallen asleep. He slowly, carefully tries taking his hand back but she holds it tightly. She asks Sagar if he is leaving her again but he denies. Amma talks of Sagar's childhood. She says that she used to sing lullaby for him when he was a kid and he used to fall asleep in no time. Sagar thinks of those old memory. They both say it together. Sagar is in tears. He recalls all the times when his grandmother has been concerned for him. Ganga and Pulkit come there. Amma has fallen asleep. Pulkit asks Sagar to come outside since their mom is calling him for dinner. Pulkit sits down in his place holding Amma’s hand. Sagar leaves. Ganga looks at the house temple. Madhvi gives instructions to Maharaj to bring Sagar’s favourite food. Sagar joins them. He keeps looking at his mother as she excitedly begins to serve him food. Sagar sweetly asks his mom if she will shower all her love on the food. Madhvi asks him why he is saying so. She reminds Sagar that he hasn't eaten anything since so many days. She asks him not eat. Sagar makes her sit. He tells his mother that he want to eat from her hands today. She happily agrees. Ganga comes to take Sagar away. Madhvi tells her to let Sagar have his food first. She denies and they both argue. Madhvi says that Sagar wont go anywhere and he will eat his food first. Ganga says Sagar wont die if he doesn't eat food in one day. Gangaa also says that everything will be over if they lose the case. Sagar asks Ganga where she is taking him to. Ganga tells Sudha not to let Madhvi come upstairs as she has to talk to Sagar about something important. She takes Sagar to his room.

Madhvi is angry. She decides to follow them but Sudha asks her to stop since it must be something important. Sagar comes to his room. He is all shocked as he thinks about that awful day. He refuses to go inside. He tells Gangaa that he cannot face it again. Gangaa says it is important. She asks Sagar to be a little brave. She also says Sagar will find light if he will step out of this darkness. She assures him that she is with him and nothing will happen to him. Gangaa tells Sagar that he will have to do this to remove the stain from his name to gain freedom. He keeps backtracking so Gangaa reminds him of Amma's oath. She asks Sagar to do it for her if not for anyone else.  She politely asks Sagar to come inside. She holds his hand and takes him inside. She keeps trying to encourage him. She tells Sagar that he is going to actually commit suicide by accepting the crime that he hasn't done. She asks him to think about his family since they have lost Janvi already. Sagar asks Sagar if he doesn't want Janvi's killer to be punished? Images of that day keep flashing before Sagar's eyes. He panics.

Gangaa tells him to try to remember it as he wants Janvi's murderer to be punished. Pulkit and Sudha try to make Madhvi understand but in vain. She tells them that no one understands her pain. The door bell rings. Ganga tells Sagar to try and remember everything and since the inspector must be in the house to take him back. She pleads with him to tell her everything in detail as she want to know every little thing. The inspector walks in. He informs the family that they have come to take Sagar. Sagar relates everything to Ganga. He tells her that Janvi called him, asking him to come home but the door was locked from inside. Sagar says that he thought Janvi was inside. He also says that he knocked but there was no response. Gangaa asks him as to what happened next. Madhvi is shocked to know that Sagar has come out on parole. Ganga asks Sagar to speak up since they don’t have time. He says that he knocked again and he saw that the door was not locked from inside. He tells Gangaa that he walked in and saw Janvi hanging by the fan. Gangaa holds him. She asks Sagar if there was anyone else? She asks him if he saw anyone? She looks at the clock and it is almost 9. The Inspector asks for Sagar. Madhvi asks him if Sagar cannot stay with them for a day since his grandmother is unwell. Madhvi tells the inspector that Sagar will come tomorrow.

The Inspector is helpless. He asks them to call Sagar. Pulkit replies the inspector that Sagar will come since he knows he has to go with him. The inspector asks if he flee. Pulkit replies that Sagar is in his room and that he will call him. The inspector goes with him. Ganga asks Sagar what time it was. He shakes his head. She asks him if any of the window was open and that there must be something. She begs Sagar to think. Sagar says maybe. She asks him if he met someone when he came home that day since someone might be hiding there. Gangaa asks him if he sense someone’s presence? She asks him if he saw anyone before or after meeting Janvi? He shouts back that he didn't see anyone. The Inspector asks Sagar to come outside since it is time. Ganga breaks down seeing the Inspector coming to take Sagar. Pulkit holds her. Sagar thinks of Ganga’s questions. He recalls meeting Mehri that day when he had come home. He mentions Mehri’s name. He tells Gangaa that he met her when he was coming towards the room. He also says that he asked Mehri about Janvi but she said that she does not know and that when Mehri left.

The Inspector takes Sagar with him. Madhvi packs dinner for Sagar. Ganga advises Sagar not to sign any papers in jail. Madhvi gives a lunch box to Sagar. She tells her son that Niru will save him and that he is not alone.  She assures Sagar that they are all with him.  The Inspector returns the lunch box to Madhvi. He ask Madhvi to take permission before she gives anything to Sagar. Madhvi tries to make him understand that it is only food. Pulkit says it isn’t allowed. Madhvi is in tears. She yells that It is no crime to give food to her son. She asks the inspector to put her in jail too if it is a crime but she wont listen to anything they say. Sagar assures her he is fine. He asks his mother not to cry as he wont be able to go otherwise. He seeks the inspector’s permission to see his grandmother once. The inspector allows him. Sagar holds Amma's hand while she is still sleeping. He kisses her hand.

Madhvi tells Sagar not to worry and that they are with him. She assures him that his father  will be home soon. She hugs him. Sagar tells his mom that he is fine and nothing has happened to him. Sagar tells Sudha to handle grandmother when she wakes up. He begs Sudha not to tell Amma anything about him till she takes her medicines. Madhvi asks Ganga what papers she was talking about. She asks Ganga to tell her what she is hiding. She dismisses the question. Gangaa asks Maharaj about Mehri. He shares that Mehri was expecting her baby. Ganga wants to know since when she hasn’t come to work. He checks the calendar in the kitchen. He informs Gangaa that Mehri didn't come since 21st as she asked for leave from 25th though. Ganga realises that Mehri has not come to their house from the day of Janvi’s death. Gangaa says she is sure that Mehri knows something about Janvi’s death and she might have seen something or heard something. Gangaa says they must meet her. Madhvi tries her number but it is switched off.

Maharaj knows where she lives. Ganga, Pulkit and Maharaj decide to go to her house. Madhvi hopes they find some clue there by which they can prove Sagar innocent. Palash notices Pulkit and Ganga going somewhere. He asks himself as to where they would go at this hour? He asks if they got some proof? Ganga gets Palash’s call. He tells Gangaa that he is feeling worried about the case. He asks Gangaa if he got any clue regarding the case? Gangaa says yes. She informs Palash that it seems like a clue. She tells Palash that Sagar said he met Mehri the day when he came home. She informs Palash that they are going to her house. Palash acts to be upset with her. He angrily asks Gangaa if she didn't feel it was important to tell him? She apologizes to him. She tells Palash that she couldn’t think of anything as she wanted to tell him about everything after meeting Mehri. Palash says that he understand. He asks Gangaa to take care as someone must be keeping an eye on her. He also asks Gangaa not to hide anything from him from now onwards.

He asks Gangaa to send him Mehri's address as well as he also want to join. He gets Ganga’s message and calls someone. Palaah tells the person that he is sending him someone’s address as Ganga has gone to meet her. Palash tells the person that he knows very well what he has to do. He ends the call. Mehri tells her kids to stop making noise but they are hungry. She tells them to sit quietly and she will bring milk for them. She asks them not to go outside. She is feeding milk to her little baby inside. She calls out for her other kids but gets no reply. She goes out but someone points a knives at her kids’ throat. She looks at them in shock.Ganga is still on her way. Maharaj is a little confused about the house as he has only been there once. He says that he came to the area during day time and now it's night so he can't remember. Gangaa makes Pulkit stop the car at a side and asks someone. She gets to know of a shortcut. Pulkit parks the car. Mehri requests the guys to leave her kids as she won't tell anything to anyone. She also says that she has even stopped going to the Charturvedi house.

The goons say that it isn’t right for her to stay there. They asks her to leave the house. Mehri asks them as to where will she go at this hour. The goons don’t care where she goes. They tell her that no one should find her. Mehri says she will go in the morning but they stay put. The goons threaten to kill her kids otherwise. She shouts. She pleads with them not to harm her kids. Maharaj, Ganga and Pulkit are on their way. Mehri packs her stuff and leaves with her kids and the goons in their car. She hides her face when she notices Ganga coming there. Ganga notices the car that passes by. She is curious about the lady who was sitting in the back of the car. She was about to follow it when Pulkit asks her to come. They find the door locked. A man tells them that Mehri just left in a jeep. Ganga chases the jeep shouting Mehri's name. Mehri does not even look back at her in fear. Palash holds Ganga as she has been running madly on the streets. She asks him to let her go as she has to stop Mehri. He tells her to come back to her senses. He reminds Gangaa that they don’t chase witnesses like this. He asks Gangaa what if Mehri gets scared and refuses to give a statement?

Palash agree that they have to find her and they will do it. He asks Gangaa to control her emotions first. Ganga is distressed. She says that they lost such a big clue but couldn’t do anything. Gangaa says that Mehri left right in front of her eyes. Palash tells her nothing has happened and that they will do something. Palash sends her with Pulkit as it is their next hearing tomorrow. After they left, Palash smirks and says that Gangaa should  just wait and watch as to what happens in court tomorrow. He says that Gangaa has just lost a witness today and slowly she will lose the most precious thing of her life which is Sagar. The next morning, Ganga is outside court. Palash comes as well. Ganga is all worked up. He greets Ganga. He asks her if she is waiting for Sagar? She nods. Gangaa says that she doesn't know why Sagar isn’t here by now. Palash tells her to relax since Sagar will come. He asks Gangaa as to why he is so restless? He asks Gangaa if she is hiding something from him? Pulkit comes there and asks Ganga if they should go. Palash asks her about it. Ganga apologies and tells Palash that she knew that he will refuse to let her go that why she didn't inform him. Gangaa says she has decided to find Mehri anyhow.

She informs Palash that she is going to Mehri's village with Pulkit since Mehri must be there. Gangaa says it is important for her to talk to Mehri. Palash reprimands her for following the witness. He angrily asks Gangaa what if someone attacks her? Gangaa does not care. She tells Palash that she can do anything for Sagar. She begs Palash not to be upset. She also asks Palash as to how will she fight if he wont support her? Palash knows how stubborn she is. He asks her to go and meet Mehri but he asks her to be careful though. She thanks him. Gangaa asks Palash to make sure Sagar does not sign any confession letter. He nods. Sagar comes there. Ganga runs up to him. She ties a black thread on his hand. Palash looks angrily. Ganga makes Sagar tie a similar thread on her hand as well. She looks at him emotionally. She tells Sagar that she went to the temple in the morning and she has brought the sacred thread for him from there. She holds his hand. She emotionally tells Sagar that the thread has her prayers and it will save him and help him in taking the right decision.

She says that the thread  is strong like them as it will remind Sagar that they don’t have to give up. Gangaa says they have to fight to get the killer punished. Sagar is all quiet. She shakes him, asking him if he understands. Sagar does not say anything. The constables take him inside. Gangaa feels uneasy because of Sagar’s silence. Gangaa says she doesn't know what Sagar will say in court. Palash tells her not to worry about Sagar since he will handle him. He tells her that he can go and meet Mehri and he will handle things there. He asks Gangaa if she doesn't trust him? He asks Gangaa to go now. She leaves with Pulkit.
