Victor Umeh Declares For Senate 2019

Senator (Dr) Victor Umeh on Saturday declared his intention to recontest for Senate, to represent Anambra Central Senatorial District in the forthcoming General Election.

Umeh made this know at Neni in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State; when he addressed the Chairmen, Vice Chairmen, Secretary, Women Leaders and Youth Leaders of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) from the 7 Local Governments and 109 Wards in Anambra Central Senatorial District.

Enumerating his achievements in less than months in the Senate. Umeh said that out the 2 bills and 2 motions he sponsored, the motion on the ‘incarceration of underage offenders and infants with adults’ was adjudged the best motion for 2017/2018 legislative year.

According to him: “Fourty (40) Communities in Anambra Central will benefit from my 2018 Constituency Project, other remaining communities will be captured in the 2019 budget.

“I have 31 Keke Tricycle, safely parked in my Constituency Office in Awka. It will be distributed very soon to the lucky persons.

“I have a wonderful plan for the women and youths of Anambra Central. I will soon commence my empowerment programme.”

He pleaded with APGA members to remain steadfast in support of his reelection, promising to always make them proud.

The event was attended by the Deputy Governor of Anambra State - Dr. Nkem Okeke, Hon. Dozie Nwankwo, Hon. Anayo Nnebe, Hon. Ibezi Ifeanyichukwu, Hon Leo Nwuba, Engr. Ikeobi Ejiofor, Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka.

Other are The Director-General Senator Victor Umeh Campaign Organisation - Prince Udodeme Emeka, Dr. Cyprian Afunugo, Chuksbrown Ezeoba and many party stakeholders.
