Ubah Unveils 1 Family - 1 Footballer Project, donates car to Association of People Living with Sickle Cell disorder

The Chairman Anambra State FA and Member AFCON Organizing Committee, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, yesterday, September 15  2018, at the 30,000 capacity FC Ifeanyi Ubah International Stadium, Nnewi/Ozubulu unveiled his grassroots football project, African Football Revolution Initiative - 1 Family - 1 Footballer Project poised at donating 1 Million Footballs to  African Children.

The grassroot football project sees a vision in a 'group of average kids' with speed and skills around the field. As rewarding as it is towards seeing every child playing a fantastic game and becoming a great footballer like Kanu Nwankwo, Jay-jay, Okocha, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Pele, Maradona, Pogba, etc. The project which will help spur the football passion in young minds shall also help discover hidden creative talents.

The President African Football Revolution Initiative, Dr. Ubah, while reacting to the pressmen immediately after the unveiling ceremony which attracted la crème de - la- creme including people from the entertainment sector, maintained that, "1 Family - 1 Footballer Project" is focused on ways to help every child grow as a confident player and a good human, and adding economic value to the society.

Also, through Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation, a brand new Innoson Fox car was donated to the Association of People Living with Sickle Cell Disorder APLSCD led by Aisha Edward, the Coordinator. Dr. Ubah who announced the automatic partnership between his foundation and the association, also made financial donations to the association.

SINCE 1 FAMILY - 1 FOOTBALLER Project is part of FIFA For Help Project, and as such remain strategically important to FIFA as football needs to remain a school for life. This project is subjected to football revolution, identifying and encouraging from birth anything that involves movement in order to prepare the child for later specific football skills at the age 8 - 17 years.

The CEO, Capital Oil & Gas who was awarded with a  "5 Star Award" in recognition of his selfless and humanitarian service to mankind, will lead the next phase of the African Football Revolution Initiative Project unveiling to Abia State on September 22, 2018.
