Anambra South: Ikenna Mbazulike-Amechi picks nomination & interest forms, calls for transparency

A frontline aspirant for Anambra South Senatorial zone in the 2019 general election, Hon. Ikenna Mbazulike-Amechi, today, stormed the national secretariat of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA in Abuja, where he collected the expression of interest and nomination forms of the party to vie for the upcoming election.

Hon. Mbazulike-Amechi was accompanied by major stakeholders and party faithfuls from the senatorial district.

Speaking with newsmen after picking his form, he called for transparency and a level playing ground for all the aspirant in the upcoming APGA primary election scheduled to hold on September 29th, barring any last minute change.

Hon. Ikenna Mbazulike-Amechi also commended the party leadership and the Governor for their neutrality in the process.

He further called for publication of delegates' list before the primaries to avoid a situation where the aspirants see the list of delegates on the day of the primaries. He said that the earlier publication of the list would help the aspirants to interact with the delegates for a transparent primaries. If not, the whole process would look as if it was rigged in favour of one person which is not good for internal democracy.
