Friday April 13 Update On “Bride With Benefits” Episode 33-35

Since there seems to be no way out of Payals work order, Bhuvaneshwar feels there is no other option but to call off the wedding and he goes to Jogeshwar’s house with Guddan and Rajath and informs them that the marriage has to be postponed for 6 months. Jogeshwar is shocked to hear that and says they can get Dev and Payal’s married in Devghar as he has decided to take care of Payal at any cost.


Bhuvaneshwar says it is not possible and they have to find another plan as Payal has to work for 3 months without leave after joining. Jogeshwar panics seeing his plan failing. Santoshi as usual makes weird faces.

Indu is tensed regarding Payal’s marriage. The door bell rings and she thinks Bhuvaneshwar has come back, but Dev comes instead and says he came to meet Payal and needs her permisison as he promised not to meet her before marriage. Indu says after haldi, it is a bad sign. He says shagun and abshagun are made by human. Indu allows him in, asks him to sit on the sofa and asks Payal to speak to him. Dev asks what is all this. Payal says it all happened suddenly and there is no other way. He asks that means their marriage will be postponed, there must be some way which they are not thinking. Payal says only secretariat can stop the transfer. He looks at the marriage card and promises that their marriage will happen on fixed date.

Jogeshwar gets tensed about the marriage postponement and asks Jaiswal to think of a way. Jaiwal says there is one way. Guddan on the other side tells Rajath they should bribe the commissioner to stop Payal’s transfer. Jaiswal also suggests same and asks instead of money, he can take some other gift. Jogeshwar reaches the commissioner’s office with mango box as a gift for his help. The commissioner says he troubled them instead. Jogeshwar says he helped instead that day and say now he is in trouble due to Payal’s transfer. The commissioner asks him to sit and asks what he would have. Natru says he can have cool drinks any time, but if Payal’s marriage does not happen, he will be in loss. He says he brought special mangoes for him and says he knows he would not like mango seeds, so he has brought them for his superiors to stop Payal’s transfer. The commissioner says it is not possible.

The commissioner tells Jogeshwar who tries his own tricks to change this that he cannot stop Payal’s transfer. He says Payal will reach here in some time, he can meet her and then go. Jogeshwar thinks if Payal sees him with mango bribe box, he will fall in her eyes. He tells the commissioner he has some important work, so he will meet Payal later. The commissioner asks him to take the mango box and leave. He takes it and goes out and sees Payal’s car. He hides his face with the mango box. Payal tries calling Dev and his phone is not reachable. She gets out of the car and identifies Jogeshwar as someone known, so she calls him, but he runs. She then thinks she is already late for the meeting and gets into the commissioner’s office. Once she goes in, Guddan and Rajath come there with sweet box containing bride for the commissioner to stop Payal’s transfer. Payal comes out of the commissioner’s cabin and sees them. Ayodhya brings food for Gulkan and asks her to have it. She says she will not. He forcely feeds her and says they don’t have ritual of taking back gifts, so she should forget getting back dowry from his father. Gulkan says he can go instead. He acts as getting angry and says he will not tolerate his father insulting them and will never go there. She asks him to calm down and hugs him but she decides she will get her dowry money back at any cost.


Payal informs her father about Guddan and Rajath trying to bribe the commissioner. Her father scolds them and says because of them, Payal’s reputation would have been at stake. He says they would have harmed more than helping them. Indu asks him to calm down. He says they will create a big pronlem some day. Payal tells her uncle Guddan that she knows his intention was good, but way was wrong. Dev reaches the secretiat and tries to meet secretary, but the peon shoos him away. Indu tells her family that one of the relative’s daughter’s marriage broke up with a similar condition, and if Payal’s marriage is postpones, they will incur heavy losses. Dev who tries to find a solution as well enters the secretary’s cabin via window and thinks of convincing him to stop Payal’s transfer. The peon sees Dev in the secretary’s cabin and drags him out with the help of the security guards while he continues requesting them to let him talk to the secretary for 2 minutes but they didn't listen to him.

Indu cries and says her daughter will go to the office after farewell instead of her in-laws house and prays to God god to do something. Bhuvaneshwar asks her to think that God knows what is best for their daughter. Guddan says his sister is saying right. Payal says they have to face the truth and she has to go to Devgarh by postponing her marriage. Alka says she and Neelu will help her in packing her pags. Neelu asks her to call Dev once and ask if he did something. She tries Dev’s number, but his number is not reachable. Dev is kicked out of the secretary’s office. Payal thinks life is unpredictable, everything was fine some time ago and now it is different, she has to fight and take up her responsibilities. She also starts packing her bags. Alka asks what happened. Payal says she did think she would face this kind of situation any time, but is facing it now, either she has accept defeat or face it. Neelu says she knows Payal will not accept defeat and suggest to let them wait till Dev comes back. Payal says it is very difficult. Dev thinks he promised Payal and he is determined to stop her transfer at any cost.


Dev speak to Payal over the phone and assuring her that he will get her transfer ordered stop for sure. Dev's father gets high fever and murmurs Santoshi that she will have to send the jewelry back. She asks why will she. He says when he will not be alive and asks what will she do with the jewelry. He dreams Gulkan as Yamraj trying to take his life and asking Santoshi to do house hold work who is in a beggar avatar. He wakes up and starts frightening. Santoshi calls Ayodhya. The secretary’s driver sees Dev waiting outside and offers to help him. He says he will delay starting the car and he can speak to the secretary by then. Dev agrees. Just when the secretary sits in the car, Dev sees a truck rushing towards a blind lady and he immediately rescues her. The secretary gets out of the car and comes near Dev. The driver tells the secretary that Dev is a good boy and was waiting to meet him since hours. The secretary asks why he wants to meet him. Dev says he came to invite him for his marriage. The secretary is surprise and says he does not even know him. Dev says he is a state’s secretary, so he is an important person and that because of him, his marriage will not happen. The secretary is curious and asks why. Dev tells him that he is marrying Payal Rai, but because of the transfer orders, Payal has to go to Devgarh. The secretary says he cannot do anything now as his officer hours are over. Dev says he came here hours ago, but since he was busy, he could not meet him.

Payal tells her mother that she has to go to Devgarh and that Rajath can drop him tomorrow. Dev comes there and says she does not have to go anywhere and gives her the transfer cancel orders. Payal smiles on receiving this. Indu asks what is written in it. Payal reads it to her that the secretary’s cancel her transfer orders and also send best wishes for her marriage. Neelu says her brother-in-law did wonders. Rajath and Guddan thank him. Indu apologizes to Dev for her earlier misbehavior to him. He says he should apologize to her instead of coming to meet Payal without her consent and says he wants his new family members trouble free. He makes her sit on the sofa and says his moms should not apologize and should only bless or slap their children. She says he is her would be son-in-law. He says he wanted to tell her something since a long time ago and says he does not want to become her son-in-law but wants to become her son. He explains that son-in-law is not dear one than son. He adds that she has same right as his mother, so she can scold and love him. She says she is asssured now that Payal cannot get a better partner than him and believes he will keep Payal happy. He says if her blessings are with him, he will.

Payal's father says Dev must have wandered a lot since morning and asks Payal to bring food for him. Guddan asks how did he do this miracle. He says only good happens to good people, then how can wrong happen to Payal. Payal's father asks if he informed his father, Jogeshwar. He says not yet. Payal's father asks him to go have food while he informs jogeshwar. Payal serves him food. He looks at her and enjoys the food. Mere Nainaa Kaatil Hogaye song plays in the background. Payal is shy and smiles. Jogeshwar gets Bhuvaneshwar’s call, but disconnects it without knowing what he want to say. His friend Jaiswal asks him to pick his call. Jogeshwar says he will start crying and will request to postpone the marriage. Jaiswal says if he does not pick his call,  then he will call Dev. Natru/Jogeshwar picks the call and asks what is the issue.
