Anambra Guber: Obijackson pays courtesy visit to Chief Mbazulike Amechi

The Chairman of Nestoil Dr Ernest Azudialu Obiejesi aka Obijackson on Saturday November 4, 2017, paid a courtesy visit to foremost nationalist Chief Mbazulike Amechi (Dara Akunwafo).

The atmosphere was lively despite the combination of a heavy down pour and very bad access roads to the Sage’s country home.

Dr. Obiejesi arrived in a convoy of cars with the Chairman Ihiala Local Government, Barrister Odimegwu, Igwe of Okija and many stakeholders from Ihiala Local Government Area.

On ground to received him were the Speaker Anambra State House of Assembly and her husband, the transition Chairman Nnewi South L.G, Hon Felix Odimegwu, Onodugo Emma Nwachukwu, Hon. Chiedozie Anapusim, SSA to the governor on political matters and many Ukpor stakeholders. Also, the entire leadership of APGA in Ukpor was in hand to add colour to the occasion.

In his remark Obijackson commended the membership of APGA for their solidarity and advocated a second term for Dr Willie Obiano after which power will rotate to Anambra South.

Chief Mbazulike Amechi commended Dr Obiejesi for his kind gesture and presented him with copies of his books and recalled Dr Obiejesi’s commitment to Igbo causes and his strong support for Ohaneze Ndigbo.

There was lots to eat and drink as the visibly elated elder statesman offered choice drinks and food to all who were present.

The visit which was meant to be a brief visit lasted for hours and no body was in a hurry to leave as Chief Amechi took everyone down memory lane.

Dr Obiejesi promised to return from time to time and in turn invited the elder statesman to his Olisa home which was accepted. The party continued till late.
