The Chairman of Anambra State FA, Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah and the Chairmen of all the Football Associations of other 35 States including the Federal Capital City, gathered today for a national football retreat programme at Lafia, the capital city of Nassarawa state.
The State Governor Umar Tanko Al-Makura declared the retreat open, while NFF President Amaju Pinnick also addressed the esteemed gathering before the commencement of the business of the day which took place at Ta'al Conference Hotel, Lafia.
General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi moderated the technical session, at which NFF 2nd Vice President/LMC chairman Shehu Dikko, Dr. Saba Idris and ex –Nigerian international Nasiru Jibril spoke on various issues.
Dikko, who is also Chairman of the NFF Marketing, Sponsorship and Television Advisory Committee spoke on Football Marketing, Branding and Sponsorship: Challenges and Way Forward while Idris talked on General Match Organization and Management: Key Issues and Jibril shed light on Players’ Transfer: The Role of Stakeholders.
