What Tony Nwoye will do to defeat APGA, PDP — Ex-OMATA PG, Anaekwe

Chief Pius Ozoh Anaekwe, the former President General of Onitsha Markets Amalgamated Traders Association (OMATA) has projected the All Progressives Congress, APC governorship candidate, Dr. Tony Nwoye as a possible winner if he could shake himself from the burden associated with the unpopularity of his party in the Southeast, irrespective of the popularity of APGA, and PDP.

Anakwe while affirming that the APC conducted one of the best primaries in the state that produced Dr. Nwoye who he described as a young vibrant man, said that the actions of the Muhammadu Buhari administration towards the Southeast would constitute a challenge to the aspiration of Dr. Nwoye.

Chief Anaekwe, however, noted that if the APC candidate could convince the people of the state on what he can do for them on his personal capacity and not on the basis of the party he is contesting the election, he could spring surprises to other contestants.

“I am happy that the candidates are all from Anambra North Senatorial District, they will test their popularity, they have equal chances based on their individual capacities and capabilities. A lot of things will count for them in the election, their personal relationship with the people and what they have done for the people in their own little ways, their party affiliation will only count outside Anambra North senatorial zones.”

Culled from Vanguard.
