[PHOTOS] Tragedy Averted As Commercial Bus Plunges Into Ukpor River

A commercial bus conveying market women to Afor Ukpor market in Nnewi South LGA lost control and plunged into Ubu Osigbu river today, 2nd September, 2017

A commercial motorcyclist who almost collided with the bus said the driver lost control, veered of his lane and plunged into the river, probably due to brake failure.

According to a Facebook user, Prince John-Paul Ejisioha who was at the scene, no casualty was recorded but many sustained serious injuries.
