BREAKING: Tragedy averted as bus conveying market women plunges into Anambra river

A commercial bus conveying market women to Afor Ukpor market in Nnewi South LGA of Anambra state lost control and plunged into a popular Ubu Osigbu river today, 2nd September, 2017.

A commercial motorcyclist who almost collided with the bus said the driver lost control, veered of his lane and plunged into the river, probably due to brake failure.

According to a Facebook user, Prince John-Paul Ejisioha who was at the scene, no casualty was recorded but many sustained serious injuries.
