Bishop Ezeokafor Condoles With Obiano Over Mother's Death

The Catholic bishop of Awka Diocese, His Lordship Most. Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor has commiserated with the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano over the death of his mother, Mrs Christiana Obiano, who died  on Friday, 2nd June, 2017, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, aged 90.

Bishop Ezeokafor who gave out his condolence message shortly after the news of the late Matriarch filtered in at St. Patrick's Catholic Cathedral, Awka, said he received the news with rude shock, describing Late Madam Obiano as a devoted Christian and a disciplinarian.

 The chief shepherd of Awka Catholic Diocese asked Obiano's family to take solace in the fact that their late mum lived an exemplary life while on earth. The compassionate Prelate who expressed gratitude to God for everything, urged Governor Willie Obiano and family to be strong, noting that he could not question God.

The charismatic bishop, prayed God to grant Obiano's family the grace to bear the loss and also for the quick repose of her soul.
