Kano Blasphemy Murder: Blame The Authorities, Not The Killers — Charles Ogbu

A southern Christian man, Joe Chinakwe named his dog "Buhari" in Ogun state and he was threatened by a group of northern Muslims. The Nigerian police quickly arrested and charged the man to court "to protect him" while the criminals who openly threatened to kill him were let go.


The police did not leave the case to Ogun state attorney general to prosecute. Instead, the NPF quickly put a police DIG in charge of the case but in the case of the Christian woman gruesomely murdered by Islamic barbarians in Kano, the Nigerian police left the case to the Kano state govt to prosecute knowing fully well that Kano state is a sharia state whose govt is fully in support of killing people (both Christians and Muslims) accused of blasphemy.

Matter of fact, Kano state govt recently secured a death sentence in th state sharia court against nine men for blasphemy and is currently pursuing more death sentence for others accused of thesame blasphemy. (I will post the link in the comment section) So as far as the kano state govt is concerned, the killers of the Imo state woman, Mrs Bridget Agbohime did the govt a huge favor by helping it save the money it would have spent in court in seeking death sentence against the woman in the state sharia court if she had been arrested.

These killers are Heroes as far as the kano state govt is concerned.
The Nigerian police knew all these but still decided to leave the case to the govt of Kano state even when it did not leave the case of Joe Chinakwe who named his dog "Buhari" to the Ogun state govt.
What does this tell you about the Nigerian police??

Don't bother, I will tell you:
This is a confirmation of our long held suspicion that the Nigerian police force as well as most if not all of our security agencies CAN NO LONGER be trusted to protect us. Our security agencies have since been compromised! Remember that apart from the navy and CDS, all our security agencies, both military and paramilitary, in fact, all the arm-bearing security agencies are headed by Northern Muslims who apparently share thesame ideology of killing people accused of insulting Islam just like the kano killers.

Argue this if it makes you feel better but deep down in your heart, you know its the truth and the truth they say, doesn't need anyone to defend it.
The barbarians who killed Mrs Bridget Agbohime are not the real enemies. The real enemies are the powerful people in govt and within the security agencies who use their position to encourage these kind of heinous crimes. Those are the people you should keep your eyes on.

As Nigerians, we ought to bury our head in shame that the leaked cucumber sex video elicited more outrage from us than this clear case of our govt endorsing the gruesome killing of innocent Nigerians by Islamic barbarians. Our silence over this is nauseating!

The blood of Mrs Bridget Agbohime is not on the head of those vermin who murdered her but on the head of those who could have stopped her murder or prosecuted the murderers but chose not to. Her blood as well as the blood of Evangelist Mrs Eunice Elisha killed in Kubwa, Abuja and dozens of others murdered by Islamic extremists will ensure that weeping and sorrows shall remain in the household of every police officer and govt official who aided and abetted this grave moral tragedy either by action or inaction.

By refusing to do its duty, the police is solely responsible for these killings.
By refusing to prosecute the killers of Mrs Bridget Agbohime, the Kano state govt, the Islamic institutions as well as the Nigerian police have just confirmed that it is okay for Muslims to kill people of other religions whenever they feel their religion has been disrespected.

Most significantly, this has confirmed that the fear that president Muhammadu Buhari cares more about his religion than he cares about protecting the lives of all Nigerians is not unfounded. Those who accused him of religious bigotry during the election campaign have been proven right.

The fear of the president islamising Nigeria is very real. The islamisation has since started but it would seem that some of us naively think islamisation is only when we are all forced to become Muslims and start praying towards Mecca.

If all the security agencies as well as all the arms-bearing govt agencies with the exception of just the Navy and the CDS are all headed by Northern Muslims, over 75% of new recruits recently employed by the EFCC are Northern Muslims, all the secret recruitments into govt agencies like the FIRS, CBN, NIS, Nigeria Prison Service etc have all been in favour of Northern Muslims.

You can verify all these with Google. Now, as a Christian, you can be killed by Muslims for no just cause and the police which is headed by a Northern Muslim will ensure your killers go scotfree. You can no longer even carry out your church service on Fridays without Muslim youth attacking you right there in the church with the Muslim-headed police still doing nothing.

Even when fulani criminals who are equally Muslims kill and maim you, the army and the DSS all headed by thesame Northern Muslims will rather protect the fulanis and their cows than protect you the victim.

And you yet claim your country has not been islamized? You are probably waiting for your president to go on air and announce it to you in your local dialect.
