Popular Delta Content Creator, Odogwu Asaba Arrested Over Alleged Rape, Death of 20-Year-Old Woman.

The Delta State Police Command has arrested a popular content creator, Ifeanyi Ogbonna, popularly known as "Odogwu of Asaba," over the alleged rape and subsequent death of a 20-year-old woman.

Police sources disclosed that the 40-year-old suspect allegedly invited the victim to Asaba under the pretext of mentoring her in content creation. Upon her arrival, he reportedly lured her to his hotel room, where he allegedly assaulted, tortured, and raped her.

Investigators revealed that the traumatised victim recorded a video detailing her ordeal shortly after the incident. She allegedly consumed a poisonous insecticide in what is believed to have been a suicide attempt.

The young woman was rushed to a hospital for emergency treatment but later succumbed to the effects of the poison.

The suspect is currently in police custody as detectives continue their investigation into the incident.

The Delta State Police Command has assured the public that justice will be pursued and that anyone found culpable will face the full weight of the law.
