BREAKING: Jubilation across Anambra as tribunal upholds Johnbosco Akaegbobi's victory

A wild Jubilation has erupted across Anambra state as the National and State Assembly Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Awka, on Monday, upheld the election of the member representing Nnewi South Constituency II, Hon. Johnbosco Akaegbobi of the People's Democratic Party (PDP).

The tribunal dismissed the petition filed by the defeated former speaker, Mrs Rita Maduagwu who challenged the declaration of Akaegbobi as the winner of the March 9 election conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
