In a press statement personally signed by Senator Ubah, he described Comrade Amakiri as the youngest National Party Chairman in Nigeria who have shown dexterity and capacity to lead the YPP to unprecedented heights.

“Happy Birthday to the Young Progressives Party (YPP) National Chairman.
“Today I join friends, family and party members to heartily rejoice and celebrate the National Chairman of our great party, the Young Progressives Party (YPP); Comrade Bishop Amakiri on the auspicious occasion of his birthday celebration.
“As the youngest National Party Chairman in Nigeria, you have shown dexterity and capacity to lead our party to unprecedented heights, this was aptly demonstrated when you led our party to our historic landslide victory in the Senatorial elections in Anambra State.
“Your courage, resilience and tenacity of purpose in the institutionalization of democratic ideals and pursuit of our party goals have no doubt, stood you out as one of the most vibrant, vocal, courageous and ebullient Political Party Chairmen in the history of our country regardless of your young age.
“In the continual strive to improve our democracy, you have been an inspiration to young progressive Nigerians who are eager to contribute meaningfully to nation building.
“As the emerging third force in Nigeria, it is pertinent to remind you that Nigeria needs the Young Progressives Party now more than ever. Therefore, I urge you to continually promote ideals that will further unify the party and ensure the entrenchment of internal democracy, equity and discipline at all times as they are the prerequisites for consolidation of party democracy.
“My amiable Chairman, there is no better time to appreciate and congratulate you than on the occasion of your birthday. As you add another year today, it is my earnest prayer that God will grant you greater strength, wisdom, good health and life to do more not only for our great Party YPP but for the entire Nation and humanity at large.
