Nigerian couple arrested for planting skimming devices on ATM in India

A man identified as Isaiah Ogunleye Seyi, 34, and his girlfriend, Rosie, 37, have been arrested for scheming to clone the ATM cards of several unsuspecting people in India.


The duo had put a skimming device and micro camera on the machine in the Yes Bank ATM booth located at Thakur Village, Kandivali on May 11, 2019, however, an employee of Hitachi noticed the device and alerted authorities.

An ambushed was laid for the suspects who showed up around 2am and were arrested. Found on them were another skimming machine, a microcamera, a cloning card and three fake debit cards.
