SUNDAY MARCH 31ST 2019 UPDATE ON GANGAA SEASON 2

The episode starts at Ganga’s residence, as ganga sits looking absentmindedly as they all discuss on how to improve their livelihood and think of various options, from changing college, to doing correspondence. Later, Raahat ma asks them to be silent and she asks Ganga "what do you want?" Ganga is stunned and thinks that she knows whats to be done.
The next scen at Ganga’s College,
Raahat maa and her family comes in to support Gangaa and sing slogans and protests, and assure ganga that they shall not let injustice happen to her. Her friends too stand up for her, as they start generating mass support, later a huge crowd follows.

The principal is informed about this, who comes out and asks whats going on. all get tensed. she orders them to go to their classes, but they dont budge. she says that she shall call
management meeting, to suspend them all, while they get tensed. ganga is tensed for them too. By the evening, the protest continues for ganga’s suuport. even by the next morning, ganga gives media bytes to the journalists. Then ganga is called in by the peone. raahat gets tensed. she tells ganga that she shall go too. the peon denies. ganga is confident and goes in.
At Sagar’s residence, Prabha caters to ammaji, as sagar and his father returns from the award ceremony. all are happy. ammaji is happy and does the puja to welcome him in the house. rudra watches this too. she asks others to follow suit too. he also adds that the family is behind this achievement and the award belongs to them.

While they are about to get going for dinner, sagar’s father gets a new case on the phone, and he says that he shall go for the new case. sagar and madhvi nudge rudra, who smiles too.
The next morning, ammaji finds sagar’s fathwer gone for work issues, and tells madhvi that its good that they are getting back on their feet after ganga’s fiasco. At Ganga’s college, CFRmagazine.com. As ganga goes in, the principal lashes at her and reprimands her for what she did and how she instigated her classmates too, and now the committee shall decide her future. ganga eyes them, and then sagar and his father walk in to join the meeting. an awkward silence follows, as they face each other. ganga is briefed in along with the board of directors, who come with their legal advisor, as introduced by the principal, asking if she has any issues. she has belief in him.

Sagar says as a legal council of the college, along with his father, and expresses to ganga that they dont want this unnecessary drama to continue and should come to a mutual, and mature decision, as they arent concerned with anyone’s personal lives. she starts taunting sagar about their meetings. ganga refers to him as the judge and tells him that she hasnt done anything wrong. Niranjan says that he is here as the director of the board meet, and she says that she is confident of her future in his hands. the board tries to clarify, why they had to do it, and then ask ganga if her portests regarding it is right. she then asks niranjan and sagar if people cant be wrong, or only ganga cant be right. ganga starts talking about how its unjustful that the society decides whats to be done with a child, based on social prejudices, and asks them of their opinion only, and not the society, and if their answer is yes, then is being pregnant is the reason behind it.

At Ganga’s College, Ganga narrates that giving birth isnt a crime, but the best experience for a woman, who lord has himself selected for this, then how can the society brand it as one. the principal tries to explain that they have to follow societal norms. ganga argues, and says that the way humanity is dying, its pitiful, and that they cant be restricted to norms and orthodox cultures, which do nothing but suffocate people. she says that she wishes to ask whats marriage, the rituals performed by a religious sanctity. sagar and his father are rendered speechless, and asks if its not a relation of two souls and hearts, and if sacrifice and commitment, the basis of this world, and if it is, then she did marry the person, who is the father of the child, and if the societal norms
are to be believed, then she isnt married. his father says that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and they are here to respect the basic societal norms. she says that norms should change with time, and it has come. she talks about how much the women have improved, and arent confined to the four walls anymore, and its good new rules are being formed, asince change is the only constant in life.

Gangaa says that when rituals changed, then why not laws and norms, as nothing is constant. she asks how can they take the help of changing parameters to assess someone. she says that she said what she wanted to, and leaves her career in their hands, and waits for their decision, while they eye her tensedly and towards each other too. ganga then leaves the meeting hall. Ganga walks in the corridor extremely tensed and distraught, as she remembers sagar’s father’s statements inside, and how different it is from his actual opinion. ganga finds everyone waiting anxiously for her. raahat sees her and asks what happened. ganga says that she has always done what she thought was right, without bothering for the people. she says that its her test as well as those, who believed in her, her opnions and her dreams. they ask about the college’s decision. ganga says that they shall know after sometime. The media continuously covers it live on camera, regarding ganga’s career, and how she has become the milestone for the youth generation.

Inside, the board deliberates over ganga’s career, while sagar’s father is taken back to memories of ganga since her childhood, and how she always stood by her stand, and never buckled under pressure. sagar expresses his desire to say something, before the voting begins. he is allowed. then he says that ganga has appealed to the board for her completion of studies, and her opnion, moral and ethics, might not match with theirs, but one thing is sure, that ganga’s demands arent wrong, illegitimate or unjustified, and she cant be terminated on ground of mere pregnancy. all are surprised. one of them asks if this can affect the other children wrongly, and set a wrong example. sagar says that they would set a bad example, by ruining ganga’s career, and that they need unabashed truthful speakers like ganga to bring the change, and for this, he doesnt have a problem with ganga continuing her studies. his father is shocked. sagar asks for the voting to proceed, as he has finished the discourse.

The principal reminds the fake MMS case, and how they supported her, but this time, they feel cheated and betrayed. sagar says that he knows what betrayal feels, but still he stands for justice, and that ganga might have disappointed many by her behaviour, but despite that, he wouldnt want her to be stripped of the basic rights to education, and asks them to give in their opinion too. they write and proceed, while sagar’s father is tensed too. Sagar’s Residence,vMadhvi calls pulkit and tells about supriya’s condition, about her cough. he expresses that the doctor isnt in town. she tells him about blood in her cough. he is scared and decides to go to someone else. he arranges and asks her to rush her to the nearest hospital. madhvi then tells supriya the same, and asks her not to be worried, as they shall get the proper treatment done. supriya complies. she gets rudra’s call, who says that he shall get his family doctor for supriya.

She understands that pulkit told him, and tells him about supriya’s condition. she is extremely tensed. she asks rudra to send for the doctor who shall come home to check up on supriya. she decides to go and tell pulkit too, that he neednt go to the hospital, and shall come straight home. she then complies and calls pulkit regarding the same. she tells maharaj to get warm water for supriya. Madhvi anxiously waits for rudra, and gets tensed when even his phone doesnt get through. Pulkit rushes in, and is distressed and distraught, while madhvi tries to calm him down, asking him to do so, for his wife’s sake, as she is already scared and would break down, if she sees him like this. she asks him to compose hismelf, and explain to her, that nothing shall happen to him, or his child. he complies and then leaves. she then gets through rudra’s call, and asks him to hurry up. he complies.

Pulkit rushes to the room, and tries to calm down supriya, who is very scared thinking that it isnt a complication. while she is thoroughly distraught, he asks her not to be scared at all, and everything shall be okay. she severely coughs and shows him the blood. he asks her to keep herself calm and composed, assuring that he shall not let anything happen to her and the child, and if anything at all, they shall face it together boldly. Later, they all wait in anticipation as the doctor checks supriya. the doctor says that chest x-rays show that everything is fine, and a more detailed observation is required. they ask about the child. she says that she shall question only after the full report. prabha stands tensedly. The doctor asks for blood samples, so that they can check for abnormalities. madhvi asks if its essential. the doctor complies. pulkit rushes to get blood ampoules.

Ammaji asks what can be given to her. the doctor tells some things. prabha leaves to get milk when ammaji asks her to. she rushes to the kitchen, thinking that she cant allow the blood test to happen, as the poison’s truth shall come out, and it shall ruin everything. she says that come what may, she cant let supriya’s child come in the world, and reminds herself of the promise, to ruin this family. she wonders what to do. she is frustrated as she leaves resignedly from the kitchen, with milk for supriya. Meanwhile, pulkit enters the house with the blood collection kits. prabha gets tensed to see this.
Ganga’s college, Outside, Ganga’s friends support her, but ask her to be prepared for the worst too, just in case, if the college doesnt allow her to stay. The principal comes and tells her in front of everyone that the board has taken the decision. she along with her friends wait for her answer in anticipation. Ganga is overjoyed, when she gets to know that she has been installed back in and all congratulate. but she is tensed when she knows one vote against her, but the principal refuses to divulge this confidential information. she says that she knows and knows why he did so.

Inside, Sagar is shocked to know that his father voted againt ganga’s education. He asks how could he support ganga, after the way he betrayed and insulted him and his family. sagar laments and wonders, that ganga did the right thing, and he couldnt let professional relations mix with personal, and he learned it from him only. his father explains that he has no sympathy for the girl who cant understand true love. he regrets and asks why does he feel that not his father, but someone else, in revenge stands here today. he leavesd. ganga comes in tauntingly. ganga, misguided that sagar himself took out personal enemity, lashes at him, as to how she thought high of him and his father as bearers of law and justice, but didnt know that they took out, personal enemity in the garb of professional opnion. he doesnt clarify whats the matter, and she storms out, bad mouthing him. sagar leaves too.

In the corridor, she is tensed, while sagar’s father see rraahat waiting tensed for ganga, and remembers her, from their past days, when they used to date each other. he is taken back to memories. he gets emotional. he waits in the car. ganga is composed by raahat ma and taken away. meanwhile, sagar comes and sits and talks about ganga, and his father asks why didnt he tell her. he says that it would have been of no use now. Location: Sagar’s Residence, the blood sample is taken, while prabha is asked to wait for the milk. after the samples are collected, pulkit comes out with the doctor, who gives him a long list of instructions for supriya, and then he goes to leave the doctor. prabha finds the samples unattended and then wonders what to do. she takes an empty vial, and then hurts herself, and puts the blood in the sample, and switcehs them. then she is shocked, when she hears pulkit calling her from behind. when relieved, that he didnt see anything, she expresses concern for him, and supriya and leaves. he too is tensed.

As she gets the chance, prabha leaves the blood sample out in the dustbin. after she leaves, someone is shown to pick the thrown vial from the dustbin. Location: Ganga’s residence
As they sit to eat, raahat get zoya’s call, and ganga is told by others about raahat’s daughter, zoya who says that she is planning to come to Banaras. ganga finds her extremely happy and is amused. raahat comes back and tells this to others, and they are excited too. raahat says that she is very excited to meet ganga too. they decide to celebrate teej together. raahat rushes in to prepare her room, and ganga comes in to watch her so excited. seeing raahat so happy about her arrival, ganga finds out about zoya and her husband, and then asks about zoya’s father and her husband. raahat is stunned.

As sagar and his fathwer have tea, sagar asks why they stopped here. he gets nostalgic and emotional, and says that he felt like it. sagar asks if he is feeling lonely, and if he is thinking something. his father is taken back to memories of raahat. The screen freezes on his tensed face. Location: On the road
sagar’s father is tensed about the memories of the past coming up like this to confront him. he talks to sagar about this. hey also discuss ganga’s situation, as to how she has come such a full circle, and now again is back to her studies, and fighting for her rights like she did in childhood.

Location: Ganga’s residence
Raahat distracts ganga from her questions regarding her husband, and shows her picture. but even when she sees the picture, ganga has questions about raahat’s husband, and she keeps getting tensed. While raahat is tensed, ganga banters about how her daughter has taken on her, but must have gotten some features from her father. raahat is disturbed. but she manages to distract somehow. The next morning, while all are selecting jewellery and other items for the women so that they celebrate teej, ganga suggests for raahat to select something tool. but she leaves tensedly. ganga wishes to go, but the other join her, in making choices. as she too tries on the bangles, she remembers her widowed days, and how sagar stood for her, and starts hallucinating him.

Sagar gets up to find the house celebrating, and the ladies all selecting jewellery and other items, and hallaucinates ganga with them too. when supriya nudges him, he is drawn awak and asks whats going on, supriya informs him about teej, and he says that ganga always wanted to celebrate this. she gets tensed seeing him miss her like that, while he vehemently says that he hates her. just then, supriya gets the package from supriya’s house, wherein there are gifts for everyone, and ammaji is overly critical about them. prabha joins her too. madhvi is tensed while supriya gets sad. madhvi cheers her up, saying that its very good. supriya is still haunted by what sagar had said, and says that she wishes to go to her parent’s house to meet. ammaji doesnt like it, while supriya insists, saying that she shall come back soon, despite madhvi expresses her concern. finally they reluctantly agree, and she gets happy. prabha is tensed to see her, wondering how is she so well, and wonders if she needs to increase the poison.

While supriya is getting ready, ragini comes, and chatters with her, about her new phone, that rudra gifted for teej. she wishes to leave hurriedly, while ragini is adamant that she wants to go. prabha stands outside listening to her speak. surpiya agrees after making ragini promise that she wont tell anyone. when prabha gets to know that supriya is secretely planning to get ganga back home, along with rudra’s sister, she is furious and says that she wont let it happen. supriya meanwhile hushes ragini asking her not to tell anyone. she tries to give supriya the poison laced milk, but she denies, saying that its late and hurries out.

Later, all are busy with arrangements when ganga is surprised to find surpriya standing at the door. supriya wishes her a happy teej, wile ragini is excited to see her. prabha too arrives while she watches from outside the door. supriya gives her gifts as is customary for the family, while ganga gets emotional. raahat and her family are happy to see this too. they both hug each other, while tears stream down their cheeks. ragini meets her too. supriya asks her to forget it all, whatever pains her, and celebrate this nicely. ganga then introduces her to the rest of the family. While all are making merry, and dancing, prabha thinks that she has to ruin this festivity, and decides to do something. she eyes where is the swing, as they would definitely go on it. Prabha is extra cautious while implementing her evil plans. she spills the oil of the pickles on the floor, right where the swing is. raahat and others nudge her to sit on the swing before she leaves. she agrees. Ths screen freezes on prabha’s evil face.

Ganga’s College
As Prabha’s evil intentions wanted, while moving towards the swing, supriya slips, and falls flat on her stoamch, screaming in pain. ganga and others are shocked. they immediately give her first aid, and then try and calm surpiya, while she is scared. they continue to assure that she and the child shall be okay. ganga rushes with her outside to the hospital. raaht then notices the pickles jar open, and is boggled and confused. Location: Hospital, Ganga rushes her to the hospital, wherein she is taken in as an emergency case. pulkit and others arrive, and are shocked to see ganga. they ask her, and she says that the doctors have taken supriya in for observation. all wait tensedly. After the operation, the doctor comes and announces that the child is okay, but due to the sudden trauma, the child couldnt be saved. all are aghast and apalled. prabha indiorectly taunts ganga. they seek permission and go in to meet supriya, but prabha stops ganga when she tries to get in.

She sees supriya aghast and apalled from the window, in uncontrollable tears. she eyes pulkit and breaks down. she is consoled by everyone. outside, ganga breaks down, and somehow she is consoled by raahat’s daughter. ganga is distraught as she eyes surpriya. ammaji starts lashing that she wont spare ganga, and walks out. they rush after her. ammaji along with others confront ganga, who is boggled. she asks how it happened. ganga tells what actually happened. ammaji asks how she landed at her place, while ganga says that she had no clue, and thought that they must be knowing. prabha instigates that ganga definitely must have instigated them, and supriya went in to mend broken relations, and had to suffer such a loss.

Prabha says that this is intentional and not an accident. all are shocked. ganga asks what does she mean. prabha directs at her, and her unwed status, at being a mother. ganga is distraught. sagar asks her to stop thinking like this, while ganga too starts reprimanding prabha to even imagine that. ammaji says that she believes she can do this, anf if she can betray sagar, then she can do anything. she continues to lash and bad mouth ganga, who is shattered. ganga explains what happened, and laments as to how she thinks like this of her. sagar stands up for her, but she asks him to back off, as he has always been hypocritical, and she wouldnt have been alone today. madhvi asks how can he side with her, when she is like this. ammaji says that ganga is burning with revenge right now, blinded by selfish motives, that she cant differentiate between the right and wrong. madhvi says that she too is led to believe that prabha might be right, and asks her to get lost.

Prabha is amused. Ganga says that she shall leave, with one more baseless accusation. before she can leave, someone stops her. all turn around to find being confronted by rudra, who eyes them tensedly, and asks ganga to come back for a minute. he says that supriya’s child wasnt killed by ganga, but someone else. prabha gets scared. all are boggled. the screen freezes on ganga’s tensed face. Location: Hospital
rudra says that ganga isnt the killer, but someone from the family, who didnt want supriya’s baby to come, and was planning on this for weeks. rudra shows blood test reports of supriya that clearly say that she was being given slow poison. all are shocked and boggled, while prabha is tensed. sagar goes through the reports and doesnt understand it. rudra says that someone was giving poison to supriya slowly to kill the child. madhvi asks who is it, and asks if its ganga.

Ganga stands shocked. ammaji says that ganga couldnt have mixed anything in the food. rudra denies it being ganga, and says that there was a family member, who is staying with them. all are boggled. rudra names prabha, who is shocked, but then goes on a pretense of how she has always cared for this family. rudra says that she was and is lying, as she has always considered them as enemies, and is here merely for her husband’s and son’s revenge. Prabha continues to vehemently insist that she is innocent, and demnads for proof, that she poisoned supriya. he says that he has no proof, but he did see the blood samples being tampered by her. all are shocked to hear this. he then says that when the blood showed poison, he became sure, but he has the proof of how supriya’s accident was caused, and she lost the baby. he says that he was coming to the hospital to show the reports and accidentally got to know a truth. sagar asks what. he tells them that ragini was being taken out, when rudra stepped in and found her distraught, about supriya’s accident. he comforts her, and then introduces himself to dolly too.

He enquires about the others. he asks ragini to be quiet, while he goes to meet others and then they shall go in. he asks ragini to be with dolly, but accidentally sees her mobile and finds something. rudra shows them the video, that shows prabha spilling the pickle oil. they are all aghast. MAdhvi slaps her tight across her face. she reprimands her and asks why she did this, as supriya wasnt her enemy. ammaji too lashes at her and asks her to get lost. Prabha gets scared and begs to be forgiven, saying that she lost her mind, and turns to everyone for sympathy. ammaji shoves her out, while prabha continues begging. Prabha storms out when noone listens to her. madhvi turns to ganga, and apologises for her bad behaviour, and blames it on circumstances.

Ammaji too asks for forgiveness. ganga says that apologising and regretting wont suffice for the wounds, that they inflicted on her, and asks how could they think that she could stoop down so low, and if this, then they can think anything. sagar listens tensedly. he says that they did apologise, and asks her to apologie and let it all go too. ganga asks how can she apologise, when she hasnt done anything, and that a mere sorry wont be enough, and says that its easy to apologise but difficult to trust, which he and his family wont understand. she storms out. Location: Ganga’s residence,bBack home, raahat is increadibly tensed as zoya hasnt come home. When ganga and dolly arrive, raahat is sorry for supriya, and asks her to rest. dolly asks about zoya, but raahat says that she hasnt returned yet. ganga offers to go to the bus stand to find out. raahat complies. ganga offers to go, but raahat insists her to rest. but ganga is adamant and then they both leave. Location: Medical Shop,  Sagar is agitated and frustrated and fights with the customer, while rudra comes and asks whats the matter. he says that he doesnt know, and rudra comments that he might be upset as to what he and his family are going through.
