On of them is Ashmit Kapoor also known as Dev is Lata's boss. He is the father of Tanvi and the husband of Koyal. He wants to ruin Lata's life for the sake of his wife Koyal, who wants to hurt Abha's family.
He brutally rapes Lata. Dev later offers to marry Lata. Lata also starts to like Dev but Chandra grows suspicious. She discovers that Dev is Tanvi's father but Koyal and Dev hatch an evil conspiracy against Chandra with her daughter (Tanvi) as witness.
