European Union Delegation in Nigeria gives out election equipment to corps members

Below is a Statement by the EU.

“As the 2019 European Union Election Observation Mission to Nigeria, 2019 concludes their assignment in Nigeria, the European Union Delegation in Nigeria will like to donate all equipment used in the course of the observation to the committed and resilient members of the Nigerian Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in recognition of their immense contribution and sacrifice in the just concluded elections.


“To this end, we would like to invite youth corps members who participated in voter education activities or served as ad hoc staff to express an interest in receiving this equipment ( laptops, mobile phones, printers etc) by sending us a message on twitter, Facebook or tagging us on Instagram @euinnigeria using the hashtag #EU4DemocracyNG and attaching photos of yourselves in the field as either an adhoc staff or voter education volunteer. You may also add a video of no longer than 30seconds, telling us why you chose to volunteer in this process.

“Please note that the deadline for entries is  Wednesday, April 3rd, 2019. The EU Delegation Nigeria reserves the final right on the selection of recipients.”
