12 reasons why electing functional State Assembly is good for Anambra

Between 2007 to 2011 , Annambra State House of Assembly had 30 PDP House of Assembly while  Peter Obi was in the APGA as a Governor .

I wish to submit that it was the most glorious era for the state .

(1) 2007 to 2011 , Anambra had 30 PDP house Members and It was the era Anambra State Integrated Development Strategy ( ANIDS ) was initiated that saw our State moving from near failed state to glorious state .

(2)2007 to 2011 , Anambra had 30 PDP house Members and It was the era that saw Legislative Legislative / Executive healthy engagement for the state development .

(3) Within this Period , they raised so many great Legislations from the PDP controlled Chamber of the state House of Assembly , example : Anambra Road Maintenance Agency ( ARMA ) was created through the act of the state Parliament as intervening agency for road maintenance .

(4) Within this period , Anambra State started saving money for the future generation that the government has over #70billion in investment and savings for Governor Obiano administration .

(5) Anambra State did not borrow money during this period of PDP led constructive engaging House of Assembly .

(6)  During this period , Anambra state built many roads that made it the state with the highest road network in Nigeria  , the state built Onitsha mini stadium , New University Teaching Hospital for the state University , etc .

(7) When Obiano came , Ndi Anambra gave him  28 House of Assembly members from APGA out of 30 members , he went borrowing without question from the house of Assembly on why he is injecting the borrowed money .

(8) APGA filled House of Assembly watched Governor Obiano sold our  saving for future generation without questioning him .

(9) The APGA house of Assembly was Obiano Govt robbed the state up and down without question .

(10) When the House of Assembly under APGA tried to invite the head of NEWMAP in Anambra who is Governor Obiano's brother and appointee  over erosion related crisis and their poor performance not minding billions under their control , instruction came from Governor 's lodge to the House of Assembly to stop such invitation and that was the end of the invitation .

(9) When Governor Obiano team went demolishing people's properties in the name of Urban renewal that they never did , their team used that advantage to loot people's goods and House of Assembly that ought to organise public hearing to protect Public Interest never bothered while our people die in silence . Never Again !

(10) Under APGA , we have a House of Assembly that receive a State Appropriation Bill on Monday and pass it on Tuesday without inviting heads of MDAs to come and defend their budgets .

(11) We had PDP House of Assembly in 2007 to 2011 and they did not threaten to impeach Gov Obi , rather they say him as a partner in progress not minding that they are from different Political Parties .

(12) You don't reinforce failure ! We have tried All APGA House of Assembly with Gov Obiano and it failed us , let's give him PDP House of Assembly this time in order to help him work for the state.

Never again will Anambra allow docile House of Assembly.
