In today's episode, Janki is seen on the hospital bed and the Arora'a family are standing close to her worried, few minutes later, The doctor comes in and says Janki can’t speak because she is paralyzed so he He asks them to leave the room and let her rest her. At Luthra's residence, Kareena is seen  worried for the rest of the family at home as they all return. Karan and Rishab tell Kareena and their parents that Janki was coming to their house to tell them something after her memory recall. They conclude that someone attempted to kill Janki deliberately, but wonders who can it be. The next morning, Prithvi was ready to leave. He then decides not to go there in a good form, he is going to visit a mourning family after all and practices how he would mourn in front of Sarla. He decides to fill his eyes with glycerin. Outside the Aroras residence, Prithvi meets a girl leaving the house. He introduces himself as Preeta’s fiancé and smirks as the girl speaks to another girl about Janki. He pours some glycerin in his eyes and knocks the door. Inside, everything was normal; the house was empty. He wonders where is Janki’s body and everyone? He was frustrated of his burning eyes and goes to wash them and was shocked to see Janki in the room as he passes by the door.

He walks into the room and apologizes Janki for whatever he did, nothing will be gained through any enmity. He says he is sure she didn’t tell anyone about him, else police must have arrested him by now. He offers her huge amount of money. Janki sat on the bed motionless and empty eyed. Prithvi convinces Janki that she is more sensible than he is and regrets his mistakes. He promises to never think false about Preeta again. He holds her feet then notices something is surely wrong with Janki. He wonders why Janki isn’t angry at him now, touches arm and notices she had no reflexes. He was elated that Janki is a living corpse only. He was boastful of his victory again. Preeta asks Binda if Sarla and Shrishti have return home. She says they are still in temple. Preeta tells Binda to clean the kitchen. Binda says her fiancé have come home. Preeta confirms if he is inside and goes in.

Inside the hospital room, Prithvi tells Janki that he will no more hurt her. He feels peaceful watching her this helpless. He thinks about playing another game with Janki and pinches her hard on wrist, Preeta looks around for Prithvi and goes towards Janki’s room. Prithvi pushes Janki from her side, she now lay on the bed with her head down. Preeta hurries into the room then and straightens Janki with the help of Prithvi. He tells Preeta he was only taking her blessings but she fell off. Preeta tells Prithvi she is fine. Prithvi wonders how she got this injury on her head and she is unreactive towards anything. Preeta says she had an accident last night and has suffered a paralysis. The doctors fear she might never get well, but they are hopeful she will soon be fine. Prithvi shows pity for Janki and asks how it all happened. Preeta shares with Prithvi that Janki must know who attempted to kill her and they wish Janki can signal or write the name of the one. Prithvi takes her attention to the present as Janki is alive and fine. Preeta goes to get soup for her while Prithvi asks to stay with her.

Behind, Prithvi makes fun of Janki again as she can’t ruin anything about him now. Kareena informs the family that Sanjana has fixed the wedding date from Pandit. Rakhi says it doesn’t feel suitable in such times when there was an accident in Sarla’s family. Sherlin takes the blame on her mother. Time is really not good, else this all wouldn’t have happened. She makes up that her fraternal parents aren’t cooperative. Her aunt already taunted over the delays in her marriage. She gets a fake call from driver and speaks as if it’s her mother and aunt, in an attempt to convince her. She later cries saying her aunt wasn’t ready to let any delays in the marriage. Rakhi agrees to keep the marriage in the given dates, and promises to keep the mehndi function tomorrow. Sherlin was happy now. Rakhi says the function must not be a grand one, as there is little time for preparations. Sherlin tells Kareena that it was all a made up story. Kareena smiles calling Sherlin a cunning lady.

Sherlin, Kareena and Rakhi in the Luthra's residence are discussing about the marriage  Rishab was leaving for office but Rakhi stops him and told him that he needs to go for shopping today. Sherlin replies that it’s their mehndi party, so Rishab was shocked. Karan comes in and is surprised to know that it's so soon, and Karan then thinks that he needs to call Preeta to beg her to postpone the wedding. At Arora'a residence, Sarla and Dadi comes back from the temple and they praise Shristi for her talents in singing, but Shristi says Preeta taught her everything. Few minutes later, Prithvi and Preeta enters inside and Prithvi says he wants to have a cup of tea and Sarla gives him a cup of tea, Prithvi asks about Sarla and he took Prasad from Sarla, Sarla then asks Prithvi why he came to their home so early this morning. Prithvi replies that he wants to tell them something important but he's worried if they will accept it, Prithvi tells them that he wants to travel abroad next two weeks and his mother told him to get married first before going to abroad. Sarla was worried on the rush for all the preparations, Prithvi says he can delay the trip for another week. Sarla agrees to make the arrangements for the wedding between Preeta and Prithvi in three weeks.

Preeta leaves to the kitchen to bring tea for them. Inside the room, Shrishti asks Prithvi why he is in such a hurry to get married and they need to consider Janki's health too, Prithvi then tries to convince her that it’s also about his career, and there is a problem every time he comes here and we can’t stop our activities as a result of difficulties in life. Prithvi then surprisingly asks Sarla if Shrishti doesn’t want him to marry Preeta. Sarla replies Prithvi that Sherlin wants him to marry preeta, and assures Prithvi that she will make all the preparations of the wedding within three weeks. Prithvi then says sorry for assuming things like that, and apologizes to Shrishti not to mind his talk and that he is very privileged  to have a beautiful sister in law as Shrishti. Shrishti enters the kitchen to see Preeta and hugs her from behind, Shristi asks Preeta if she wants to leave them and go abroad and her whole family, Preeta then smiles and replies that she will definitely come back to Mumbai. Shrishti begs Preeta not to go to abroad, then Preeta replies that she had an engagement with Prithvi and people will now trouble her if she doesn’t get married and what if Deepak returns? Shrishti replies that she has a bad instinct about this marriage of hers with Prithvi.


At Arora'a kitchen, Shrisht enters the kitchen and sees Preeta, she hugged Preeta from behind, Shristi then asks Preeta if she wants to leave them and go to abroad, Preeta smiles and replies that she will definitely come back to Mumbai. Shrishti begs Preeta not to go to abroad, then Preeta replies that she had an engagement with Prithvi and people will now trouble her if she doesn’t get married and what if Deepak returns? Shrishti replies that she has a bad instinct about this marriage of hers with Prithvi. Shrishti tells Preeta that she see Prithvi as a villain, Preeta replies that Shristi is saying this because Prithvi wants to carry her away from Mumbai. Shrishti brings tea for Prithvi so as to make them good  friends, Preeta thinks if Shristi really meant it, Sarla is happy to see Srishti bring tea for Prithvi, Sarla then wonders that maybe Shristi is doing this because she wants to apologise to Prithvi. Shrishti gives the tea to Prithvi. He tells her to give to Dadi first. Dadi says Prithvi first. So, as they were arguing who to give the tea, Shristi then intentionally pours tea on Prithvi's hand and blames him for not taking the tea when she offered earlier.

Prithvi then scolds Shristi, Sarla and other members of the family are surprised at his angry attitude. Dadi asks him to calm down. Prithvi realises he said too much and apologises to everyone saying he lost his cool as hot tea fell on his hand. After that, he asks Sarla whether he can take Preeta with him to a mall to buy her a gift as his mom wanted him to give her a gift once engagement date is fixed. They leave. Sarla scolds Srishti for dropping tea on Prithvi’s hand. Shrishti says in her mind that she hates Prithvi. It would be something if Karan or Rishabh had become her jija. She hopes it really happens. Both brothers are in a showroom with Sherlyn. Karan tells Rishabh he didn’t want to be here, he doesn’t know anything about shopping. Rishabh says he needs his expert advice. He at least knows latest trends, what girls like, etc. Karan says he will help but in return he has to promise that he won’t scold him in front of Preeta. Rishabh teases him. Karan was leaving. Rishabh says he was just joking. Prithvi and Preeta also come to same place. Preeta hesitates to go inside as it’s an expensive shop
