“When Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu the widow of our departed leader spoke out and shouted on hilltops she was vilified by all manner of people, some paid, some ignorant: they trivialised the issues she raised saying she spoke because she did not get the Party's Senatorial ticket.
“Now we see that she saw the future and to her credit she spoke out unlike the battalion in our BOT that attend meetings to rubber stamp and entertain our "BOT CHAIRMAN CUM LEADER".
“They kept silent to remain relevant. They knew the mood of the people and refused to speak honestly to power, believing that party loyalty is being a yes man.
“They only spoke what they believed Power wanted to hear; men who normally had integrity, men who normally were bold were intimidated by a false security of 21/21.
“We all began to live in a fool's paradise.
“The results are in and if nothing is done then know ye this day that “more results are coming"
“Someone has to accept responsibility for this leprous outing of our great party in the last National elections.
“I state here today that Oye Victor alone cannot be called out. The entire leadership of APGA MUST accept responsibility for the mess they have led us into. Victor Oye I believe, was not alone in this misadventure, he has a boss, the BOT and it's Chairman and I call on them and their leader to do the needful or resign for us to immediate rebuild Our Great Party and get ready for the next Gubernatorial elections. We do not have time. This leadership cannot lead us anywhere.
“It is now obvious that internal democracy remains the only way to go in rebuilding and retaking our kidnapped and hijacked party.
“Never too late to make amends. We must go back to Onye Aghana Nwanneya , and jettison Nke a bu Nke Anyi for we do not know who the “Anyi" are.
“I expect a deluge of insult from people who must please their master and show loyalty by abusing me rather than discussing issues raised.
“APGA SHALL RISE AGAIN. THE PARTY IS BIGGER THAN THE INDIVIDUAL. WE MUST HAVE OUR PARTY BACK.”
