WEDNESDAY JANUARY 16TH 2019 UPDATE ON THIS IS FATE

Outside, Shrishti’s head ached badly. Sarla was angry at her condition. Shrishti tries to communicate to Beeji about Karan, but her head continues to ache. Meanwhile, Preeta thinks of running away as she cannot handle Karan's proposal. Karan comes back as Preeta asks him not to say a word but Karan keeps talking and shocks her by asking her to postpone her wedding as she was supposed to help him with getting rid of Sherlin and saving Rishabh. Preeta is relived to know Karan's reason and asks him to tell her more about it in detail. Karan tells her that Sherlin has kept a fast for Rishabh and Rishabh is quite disturbed by the fact. Karan tells Preeta that Sherlin is trying to get into the hearts of everyone at home.

Preeta tells Karan that if she has kept a fast then the plot seems deep and also points out that when she (Sherlin) is so in love with some one else how then can she fast for Rishabh. At the Luthra house,  Rishab comes to Rakhi’s room and drags her to come along. He then sits to correct her nail polish that he has ruined and he also looked upset. He shares with Rakhi that Sherlin is fasting for him and he dislikes it. He adds that Sherlin isn’t eating or drinking and she is also complaining about feeling acidity. He requests Rakhi to ask her to break the fast. Rakhi wasn’t ready. Rishab blackmails his mother by pretending to be annoyed with Rakhi. Rakhi gives out a condition that Sherlin would only ask her once but Rishab tells his mother to rather give her two chances.

Karan tells Preeta that they should go to the Luthra house and keep a watch on Sherlin to check who breaks her fast. They keep up their bickering as Karan says he is doubtful now that Preeta has feelings for him. Preeta tells him that she is a decent girl. They keep up their fight and fall on the bed locked in each others eyes. Rakhi convinces Sherlin to break her fast as she looks weak and suffers from acidity as well. Sherlin asks Rakhi when she had a fast for the first time, she says that she must also have to go through all this. Sherlin says that a woman must have the wish to fast for her husband to be and she also wants to fast with the same intensity. Rakhi fasts for Mr. Luthra. Rakhi blesses Sherlin and tells Rishab she is with Sherlin.

On the other hand, Janki also gets a drink for herself. Srishti wonders what exactly is wrong with Karan and arrives at a conclusion that probably Karan is in love with Preeta and may be ready to propose to her. She tells herself that she must figure out. She turns to leave but slips on her way, she assures Sarla she is fine and only wants to speak to Preeta. Sarla and Beeji have an argument over drinking. Shristi gets drunk with Beeji and in the drunken state decides to talk to Preeta about what she was thinking, when she enters, she finds Karan and Preeta on the bed lost in each other. She thinks that probably Karan has already proposed and Preeta has accepted too. Shrishti is excited to see Karan and Preeta together, she says they must cancel everything at Prithvi’s house. Preeta was afraid, Shrishti regrets drinking so much in a time of excitement.

She falls on the bed and fell sound asleep. Preeta turns to face Karan, she clarifies that he means nothing for her as she got a good proposal from Prithvi. Rakhi is looking for a nail polish. Mr. Luthra comes to the room and kiss the back of Rakhi’s hand. Kratika watches this and comes inside, she apologies for having spoilt their moment. Rakhi explains that Rishab ruined her nail polish and she was looking for a nail polish remover. Mr. Luthra finds it for her and cleans the nails. Kratika asks them the secret of their ever green love. Mr. Luthra says it’s Rakhi who makes him realize her love as whenever he looks towards his children they appear as a gift from her.

A eunuch blesses Preeta and Karan as a couple. Preeta was afraid of the blessing and goes behind him. Karan comes behind Preeta and assures her that she will marry Prithvi soon and he (Karan) won’t ever get married. Preeta says she was afraid because it’s Karwachot. She turns to pass by him, her dupatta fly over his face. She forbids him to stop worrying as such scenes only happen in films, and they are surely never going to get married. She drags him to the car and Karan was lost in thought. Kratika calls Akshay if he was getting ready to come to her place. She tells him that he is already handsome, he also complements that Kratika is prettier. Kratika reaches the corridor and was left awestruck by the decoration. She comes to appreciate her. Kareena says she wants to make the day memorable for her and Sherlin. Kareena sends Kratika to have some rest, Kratika hugs her saying she is the best mother in the world. Kareena tells herself that she made the decoration only to show Shrishti that she is a much better as an interior decorator.

Preeta and Karan reach the Luthra house together. Preeta scolds Karan for driving slow as they got really late. A servant hits Karan and the juice spills over his dress. The servant apologizes, Preeta says that Karan must apologize. Karan was furious, he drags Preeta into the room. She was intrigued as he bolts the door. He comes to her and orders her to remove his jacket. Karan says he has a pain in his shoulder and won’t be able to remove the jacket. Preeta asks him if that’s the reason he brought her to his room, Karan says he didn’t want Sherlin to see her and that he will make up a story that he needed a physio for shoulder ache later on. Preeta finally removes the jacket. Karan takes another dress to the washroom. Preeta watches his photo-shoot and thinks that Karan is filled with arrogance. Karan comes out, he tells her to focus on their mission and follow her, warning her not to get caught. Sherlin felt hungry and thinks about breaking her fast. She thinks it would be trust-breaking with her baby. She then thinks about taking his permission to eat something.

In the corridor, Preeta tells Karan they must make a recording of Sherlin and play the video in the evening. Kareena hears Preeta and Karan together in the corridor. Preeta was also shocked to see her. Kareena was irked and asks what’s happening there. Karan says he had pain in his shoulder, so he thought about getting some massage from Preeta. Preeta also explains that everyone is against her in the Luthra house and that she couldn’t treat Karan in a closed doors nor in the hall. Karan takes Preeta to the hall for some massage. They discuss about the issue at hand and Preeta created a misunderstanding in the mind of Kareena. There, Kareena decides to keep an eye over them.

Meanwhile,  both Preeta and Karan shares a cute moments. She then apologises to Karan. Preeta asks him as to what has happened, he looks into Preeta's eyes and says that he fears something would soon happen. They were cautiously passing by when Rakhi comes there. Rakhi comes and and tells Preeta that Karan actually had to help her mother. Preeta thinks that Karan came to mock her instead. Karan thinks he didn’t share with Rakhi about the proposal as he wasn’t sure it will get fixed so soon. Rakhi asks what they were thinking about. Both exclaim together saying ‘nothing’. Rakhi pulls Karan’s ear and mentions about his marriage in front of Preeta. Rakhi asks Preeta to convince Karan for marriage just like Rishabh. She says that she was happy with Sherlyn fasting for Rishabh although she was unwell.

On the other hand, Karan spots Sherlyn cautiously going towards the kitchen. He says that this was a golden chance to get a proof against her. He heads towards the kitchen but Rakhi pulls him back. Karan signals to Preeta that it’s really important for him to go. Rakhi senses something. Preeta tells Rakhi that Karan has selected a girl. Karan turns around in shock. Rakhi hugs Preeta out of excitement. Preeta signals him to leave but he doesn’t move. Preeta takes Rakhi with her as Karan is so shy. Karan wasn’t ready to go as he would want to hear what Preeta will say to his mother. Rakhi was excited to know about the girl. Karan pushes her to tell her now. Preeta says the girl is Sofia. Karan shouts at Preeta for saying this. He turns to go to towards the kitchen as Sherlyn too is there. Preeta follows him. Sherlin’s mouth waters as she watches chocolate cake in the kitchen.  She is about to eat a cake and breaking her fast when Kareena interrupts. Preeta asks what was Sherlyn doing in the kitchen on the day of her big fast.

Sherlyn makes up a story that she couldn’t help herself resist the cake. Kareena says it's her mistake as she had request the cake for herself. Rakhi understands and blames Kareena. Kareena thinks Preeta had come to degrade Sherlyn. She was determined not to let Preeta harm Sherlin. Kareena says that she is with Sherlin right now. Shrishti wakes up with her head banging. She slaps her face and recalls what was going on earlier in their house, she looks around for Preeta and Karan and thinks about her intimacy.  Kratika speaks to Akshay that she feels excited about her first fast. She asks Akshay if he will also fast for her. Akshay asks why he would. He adds that he isn’t any fool to fast only for impressing his girlfriend. Kritika tells him that many handsome guys also do so. Akshay was furious at this and cuts the call. Kratika was worried as to what has happens to her soon to be husband, she then takes the blame on herself. Shrishti comes outside the hall and asks what she did when she got drunk.

Sarla was furious and asks Beeji to tell her. Beeji jokes, Sarla was angry and turns to leave. Shrishti hugs Sarla and insists on her to sit with them. She asks where Karan and Preeta are. Beeji replies that they have left already. Shrishti agrees to Janki being absolutely right. Beeji doesn’t understand. Shrishti points out why they allowed Karan and Preeta leave home together on Karwachot. She asks if they discussed about their marriage proposal and announces that Karan proposed to Preeta and she accepted it.

Sherlin comes to Kareena and takes a drink. Kareena was curt and says she feels jealous of that girl. There is no comparison of Kritika and Preeta; Preeta got someone like Prithvi who is well settled and good looking. Sherlin says its because of her. Then explains Rishab would have married Preeta if not her. Kareena clarifies it didn’t happen because of her, Preeta is marrying someone who loves her dearly and even Sherlin is marrying someone who loves Preeta. Sherlin thinks Kareena didn’t know they are celebrating Preeta’s destruction today.

Sarla comes to Rishab to introduce Prithvi with him. They shake hands. Sarla asks if he has met him? Rishab says he was trying to recall if he met him? Prithvi says people often get misunderstandings, as he has a really common face. Rishab insists
he genuinely feel he met her. Sarla takes Prithvi to meet a neighbor. Prithvi was nervous of Rishab’s stare. He turns to go to the other side and thinks he must fix Karan and Rishab before they ruin his plan.

Rishab comes from behind tries to recognize Prithvi and asks where did they met earlier. Prithvi denies meeting him ever. Sherlin watches Rishab and takes him away as everyone is waiting for them. Rishab thinks this man is suspicious. Prithvi was relieved as he could have recalled everything soon if stayed. Shrishti comes to the hall with her fingers crossed. Sameer waves at her but she shuts her eyes tightly. Sameer calls her crazy and leaves. Shrishti opens her eyes and thinks she must be day dreaming about Sameer. She turns to go home. Janki asks Shrishti what happened to her. Shrishti says she can only see darkness in her future.

Preeta comes downstairs looking for Sarla. Prithvi stops her. Karan watch them talk to each other. Prithvi asks to straighten her matha tikka. Sherlin notices Karan staring at them, and feels dislikes Prithvi’s intimacy with Preeta. She takes Prithvi. Karan asks to speak to Preeta but she wasn’t in a mood to argue, she goes to speak to a friend. Karan holds her hand, the friend calls her fiancé handsome. Preeta takes him aside. Karan insists he needs to speak to her and takes her upstairs
