Zeeworld: Thursday January 17th update on This is fate

THURSDAY JANUARY 17TH 2019 UPDATE ON THIS IS FATE

Shrishti wakes up with her head banging. She slaps her face and recalls what was going on earlier in their house, she looks around for Preeta and Karan and thinks about her intimacy.  Kratika speaks to Akshay that she feels excited about her first fast. She asks Akshay if he will also fast for her. Akshay asks why he would. He adds that he isn’t any fool to fast only for impressing his girlfriend. Kritika tells him that many handsome guys also do so. Akshay was furious at this and cuts the call. Kratika was worried as to what has happens to her soon to be husband, she then takes the blame on herself. Shrishti comes outside the hall and asks what she did when she got drunk.

Sarla was furious and asks Beeji to tell her. Beeji jokes, Sarla was angry and turns to leave. Shrishti hugs Sarla and insists on her to sit with them. She asks where Karan and Preeta are. Beeji replies that they have left already. Shrishti agrees to Janki being absolutely right. Beeji doesn’t understand. Shrishti points out why they allowed Karan and Preeta leave home together on Karwachot. She asks if they discussed about their marriage proposal and announces that Karan proposed to Preeta and she accepted it. Srishti tells Sarla and Beeji about Karan's behaviour when Prithvi had come to their house for the marriage proposal. Janki distributes sweets. Sarla gets confused. Srishti says Karan and Preeta are in love.

She later calms the family down, she adds that this happens when there is love and Preeta must say no to Prithvi’s family. Kareena comes to Kritika and asks her about Akshay. She tells her mother that Akshay will be on time as she is fasting for him. Kareena notices that Kritika is upset and assures her that she is always on her side. She explains to Kritika that whatever strict decision she takes is for the betterment of the family. She takes Kritika’s promise to share her problem at every matter of the world. Kritika tells her mother about their argument. Kareena assures Kritika that Akshay will come to break her fast, she then shares that whenever she senses something bad only Akshay comes in mind. Kritika also thinks she gets afraid of Akshay at times, she later jerks the idea from her head.

Rakhi insists that Karan and Preeta should invite Sofia for the Karwa Chauth fast. Preeta goes to the kitchen to prepare the prayer tray, whiles Karan gets annoyed with her. Rakhi comes to Rishabh and asks him to share his worries. Kareena insists that Sherlyn loves him, but he doesn’t feel the same for her. Rakhi helps clear Rishabh's doubt about love and explains it through her own story with Mr. Luthra. Rakhi tells her son that if any single love in a marriage life is spent well everything works out perfectly at the end. Rishab agrees to give her mother's advice a try.

Sherlin speaks to her ex husband, he tells Sherlin he loves her dearly. Sherlin complains she had called him in the evening, whiles he didn’t answer. He explains he was with his parents and he couldn’t share with them about their relationship. Sherlin tells him that she will break the fast only if he comes. He takes it as challenge. Preeta overhears the conversation. Sarla isn't ready to accept that Karan loves Preeta. She says it might be a misunderstanding. Beeji reminds her of how Karan helped their family every time they needed him. Sarla finally agrees. Janki insists that Karan wanders behind Preeta although he is a star. Preeta looks around for Karan, she spots him going through the corridor. Kritika stops Preeta and introduces her to her school friends.

Preeta rushes for an important work and slips but Rishabh holds her. She thanks him and hurries inside. Rishabh wishes Preeta knew he loves her so much. Rakhi's friends suggest a marriage proposal for Karan but Rakhi says Karan has selected a girl for himself. Rakhi asks him to call Sofia but Karan gets annoyed with Preeta again. Preeta is searching for Karan around and she bumps into him. Karan is angry that Preeta mentioned Sofia's name infront of Rakhi. Preeta tells Karan that she was just trying to get him out of the situation. Karan does not agree and says he demands an apology and also wants her to get him out of the situation as Rakhi had asked him to get Sofia home. He says that Sofia is not his type and he does not want to get married at all. As Preeta tries walking away, Karan pulls her back and says that he has all the right on her.

He takes the phone call of Sarla from Preeta and says that he is busy with her right now. Preeta finally says sorry and tells him to tell his mother that Sofia is out of town. Karan says that he could have done that without Preeta. Preeta then tells Karan about hearing Sherlin's conversation to her actual lover and that she is waiting to get her fast broken by him. Karan and Preeta decide to make proof against Sherlin. At Sarla's house the family convinces Sarla to accept Preeta and Karan's relationship. Shrishti insists that she saw them together with her own eyes. On everyone’s insistence, Sarla breaks into cry that she also likes Karan and that she won’t also let them marry in court. Beeji suggests that Sarla should go to the Luthra house and speak to Karan's mother.

Sarla was ready. Shrishti insists that she too wants to come along but she was forbidden. Sarla decides to go to Rakhi today itself and speak about their wedding. At the Luthra house, Rakhi welcomes the Katha lady. She finds Sherlin looking for someone. Rakhi tells her she would only be able to see Rishab at moon sight. Sherlin waits for her ex husband and Kareena asks her to sit down and rest. Karan and Preeta keep an eye on Sherlin as they watch her wait for her lover. Preeta asks Karan to keep Sherlin engaged in a conversation as she herself would steal Sherlin's phone to check on Sherlin's lover's details. Karan is delayed by Rakhi as she asks him about Sofia. Karan tells his mother that Sofia is out of town. Rakhi wished to meet her. Both Karan and Preeta head towards their mission. Karan engages Sherlin in a conversation when Preeta steals her phone. Preeta checks the calls buts gets nothing. Suddenly a message arrives and Preeta sees it is Sherlin's lover. Her ex husband says he is arriving in 15mins. Preeta decides that this was the right time to expose Sherlin.

Sherlin panics as her cell phone was lost. She turns to watch Preeta, she shares with Kareena that Preeta was around her. They turn to Preeta with an angry scare. Karan wonders what he must do to save Preeta. He crashes into Preeta and snatches away the phone. Sherlin tells Karan that Preeta stole her phone. Preeta shows her hand and it is only her own phone in her hand. Karan then replaces the phone on the sofa and tells Sherlin he found it there. Sherlin still insists that Preeta is capable of stealing. Preeta says she was nervous because they kept investigating her like she was a thief. Akshay arrives at the Luthra’s house. Mr. Luthra calls Kritika and asks her to touch his feet. Akshay denies. Akshay was annoyed at Kritika but she apologizes. He forbids her to appreciate any other guy in front of him again. Karan asks Preeta all the questions about Sherlin’s ex. Preeta says there was nothing in Sherlin’s phone as her lover was texting with a private number.

She says the man is coming in 15 minutes and he had addressed Sherlin as Janu or Sweeto. Karan teases how Preeta can know it’s either from a boyfriend. Preeta tells him to concentrate on Sherlin’s case, Sarla and Srishti are surprised to see the amount of decorations at Luthra house. Dadi tells Srishti that Kareena herself did the decorations as it was just a small function. Srishti and Sarla are confronted by Kareena who asks them why they are there. Sarla and Srishti taunt her saying she will soon have to get used to seeing them in the house and welcome them with a smile too. Srishti goes on to find Karan and Preeta. Karan follows Preeta and he teases her. He tells Preeta that she is so dumb as there isn't anyone in this word with the name "Janu". Preeta says no one ever called her with this and now Karan must concentrate on his work. Karan is relieved, and takes her concentration to the door.

Preeta asks about Sherlin and asks where she is. Karan says they must focus on Sherlin when she takes the next step.  Karan adds that they will find out when her lover get to the house. They spot Sherlin coming downstairs and hide themselves to keep an eye over her. Sherlin reads the text on her phone, she then wonders how the message didn't flash. She ignores  and worries how her ex husband would enter the house. The guy arrives at Luthra’s house. He thinks he will be caught if someone recognizes him. He tells himself that today is his biggest adventure and the danger ahead has filled him with excitement. He goes inside.

Rakhi comes to Sarla and greets her, Sarla compliments her. Sarla says Karwachot is a festival for every married woman and its Rakhi’s right to appear good today. Rakhi asks Sarla what she had to say about Karan and Preeta. Sarla says Karan and Preeta have come really close to each other in a while. Sarla is about to tell Rakhi about them being in a relationship when some band people arrive. Preeta and Karan talk about the message on Sherlin's phone. Karan is confused when Preeta tells him that she is sure it was Sherlin's boyfriend as nobody else would say such words as sweetu and jaanu. Karan wants to know if Preeta was ever called by that name from any man. Preeta says she never was and asks him to concentrate on Sherlin's case. Sherlin awaits at the entrance and wonders where her husband is. She sees him and texts him as the band too comes in.

Preeta and Karan do not see the man and Karan goes off to have food whiles Preeta sees her mother and wonders what she is doing there in the Luthra house. Karan teases her that Sarla must have brought their marriage proposal. Preeta was shocked. Meanwhile, they both missed Sherlin as they got entangled in their conversation.
