Zeeworld: Thursday January 17th update on Gangaa

THURSDAY JANUARY 17TH 2019 UPDATE ON GANGAA

Ganga tells herself that she must find another way after 2 days to stay back home as she wont go to the widows home though. Madhvi looks tensed and Ganga makes a sad face. Niru goes to drop the doctor to the door. Ganga asks Amma how she will go to the widows home now. Amma replies that she was sending her to serve the Guru and now they must take care of her. The ladies leave from there. Pulkit questions Ganga that she should tell her the truth and that he shouldn't tell him the cock and bull story she told everyone. He asks Ganga if she did it intentionally for Sagar and that she burnt her hand that day and now she did this too. He asks her what’s happening?

Ganga says she had no option as this has been happening since 10 years. She tells Pulkit that Amma and Madhvi always send her away on some pretext when Sagar is about to come over and that this time she had made up her mind that she wont let it happen. Pulkit is amazed Ganga can go to this extent for mere friendship. Ganga does not share that she loves Sagar.  She tells Pulkit she has full right to meet Sagar and that neither him, nor anyone else will understand it. Amma is worried thinking why Ganga got hurt at this time when Sagar is coming home. Maharaj comes home with medicines. Ganga takes Pulkit’s phone to message Sagar. She notices an unsent message written for Pulkit.

She says they don’t have time to waste. She sends the message. The marriage is a due day after tomorrow. She says that they should do anything for the ones that they love. Pulkit looks at her. Meanwhile, Madhvi is sure Ganga did it intentionally as Sagar is about to come and she is refusing to go to the widows home. Madhvi says that Ganga wont leave if her feet is burnt and neither will they be able to do it. Amma realises the same. She says that Ganga is too smart and she tried to fool them. Amma tells  Madhvi that she will send Ganga to the widows home anyhow. Madhvi asks how will that happen?  Ganga applies ointment on her burn feet. Amma  brings a medicine from Vaid for Ganga. She tries to decline but Madhvi insists that it will soothe her pain.

She tells Ganga that Amma herself applies it. Madhvi leaves after saying the burn will be fine by tomorrow morning. Amma too lies down to sleep. She smirks and says that she will see how the pain does not go away the next day. Ganga is worried thinking Vaid medicine will work real fast. She asks herself what if her feet get well by tomorrow? The next morning, Ganga prays her wound  will still remain the same. Amma also prays that Ganga will be fine. Madhvi thinks the medicine was too strong and that Ganga might have recovered. She makes Ganga walk to check if the pain is gone. Ganga walks. She asks herself if Vaid was a magician as she is not feeling any pain.

She tells herself that she has to tell it to everyone though. Madhvi makes her swear on her father's name. She asks Ganga to tell her  how she is feeling for real. Ganga is shocked. She tells herself that she cannot lie now. She shares she is feeling perfectly fine. Amma sends her to pack her clothes. Ganga sadly leaves. Amma understands why Madhvi made Ganga swear in her father's name. Madhvi has made up her mind. She says they have to send Ganga away before Sagar reaches Banaras.  On the other hand, Sagar and Janvi are in a rickshaw. He wants to surprise his family. Ganga paces in the balcony. She says that she tried so much yet she still wasn't able to meet Sagar. Madhvi gives her transport money. She tells Ganga that the bus leaves at 9. She tells Ganga to check her stuff so she doesn't leave behind anything. She goes from there. Ganga thinks everything that belongs to her is in the house.

She also says that there is no network connectivity in the widow's home and she wont even get to know about Sagar’s arrival. Ganga says that he comes home this month every year but he has neither told her the date till now. She asks herself how will she meet her Sagar? Janvi, Sahil and Sagar enjoy Rabri at a famous shop. He packs some jalebis home. Sagar says that Ganga loved them the most as she used to hide and eat them in childhood. Sahil is curious. Janvi asks her brother to make Ganga eat them. Sahil tells her not to speak like that.  At the Charturvedi household, they hear a bell as it is 8 am. Pulkit asks Ganga what happened. She picks up her bag. He asks her if all her tricks failed? She nods. Gangaa tells Pulkit that maybe it isn’t in her fate to meet Sagar. She promises Pulkit that she will call him daily from PCO.

She asks him if he will make her talk to Sagar when he arrives home? He asks Ganga if they should leave for the bus stop.  Meanwhile, Sagar reaches home. Ganga and Pulkit hear his voice. He tells Gangaa that her dream has come true. He says Sagar here! Pulkit rushes downstairs. Sagar picks up his grandmother in his arms. Amma is ecstatic to see him. Amma calls out for everyone. Ganga cannot believe her ears. She tells herself that Sagar always informed her about his arrival. Her doubts get confirmed hearing Sagar's voice again. She says that Sagar has come for real. Everyone is thrilled to see Sagar. Ganga wipes her tears. She too runs towards the stairs. She stops by the staircase. Sagar hugs his family members one by one. Sagar runs to give a hug to his brother. Ganga peeks from upstairs. Maharaj and Mehri are also very happy to see him home. Ganga tells herself that her Sagar has finally come home.

Sagar introduces Janvi and Sahil to his family members. Janvi initially extends her hand to greet Amma but then touches everyone’s feet one by one. Sagar asks for Ganga. The smile disappears from Madhvi, Amma and Janvi’s face. Ganga gets emotional upstairs. She tells herself that Sagar asks about her. Sagar asks his mother about Ganga. Madhvi stands all speechless. She tells her son that Gangaa must be around. Madhvi tells them that they should freshen up. Maharaj asks Sagar to have food first. Sagar insists upon meeting Ganga first. Pulkit tells him Ganga is upstairs. Sagar rushes upstairs. Ganga thinks of what step to take. Madhvi and Amma stand there tensed. Janvi feels awkward too.

Ganga wipes her tears as she stands in the balcony. She is touched when she hears Sagar calling out her name. She smiles at herself as she peeks in the mirror. She says the vermilion   on her forehead is intact in its place. Sagar is looking for her. Gangaa wonders why her heart is beating so fast hearing Sagar’s voice and asks why does she feel shy. She says it as if her feet is stuck to the ground. A voice tells her that her Sagar is here and he is calling for her. The voice asks her why doesn't she want to go and why is she shy of Sagar. The voice urges her to go!  Gangaa hides yet again as Sagar comes near the room. Sagar talks about the sweets that he has brought for her. He stops as he feels some fragrance around. Sagar says that he smells that Ganga must be around and wonders where she could be now?

Madhvi asks Maharaj to get breakfast ready. Amma says that Sagar wont sit quietly without meeting Ganga. Madhvi smiles looking at Janvi. She smirks and tells herself that now this story of Sagar and Gangaa wont continue for long. Amma follows her gaze. Ganga says she cannot face Sagar as she wont be able to meet him. She runs downstairs when Sagar goes to the other side. Sagar could not find her anywhere in the house. Ganga runs all the way towards the river excitedly. Sagar keeps the box of sweets down for her.  Sagar says he agrees he has lost as he couldn’t find her. JP comes there. Sagar talks to him. He tells JP that if he doesn't find Ganga then she will fight with him. He asks JP to help him and asks where Gangaa is? JP stays quiet. Sagar treats him with biscuits. He asks the dog to tell him where Gangaa is. JP goes outside and Sagar follows him.

Ganga finally stops at the river. She tells herself that she is sure that the Sagar she knows will definitely come and fetch her if he hasn't changed all this years and he will reach his Ganga. Gangaa says she will fight a lot with Sagar if he fails to find her. Sagar is coming. She speaks to the Lord that Sagar is coming to her. She looks at her reflection in the water. Sagar reaches the river just then. He spots her looking in the water. He calls out her name. He shouts out that finally he has found her. Sagar tells Gangaa that she didn't meet him on any of his previous visits and he kept asking about het all the time. Sagar tells Gangaa that everyone told him that she went to some widows home with aunty Sudha.

Gangaa mutters that Sagar had no idea she was dying to see him. He asks Gangaa if she said something. Gangaa thinks Sagar did good or else they wouldn’t have met this time as well. He asks Ganga to look at him as he is finally here. He asks Ganga if she doesn't wish to see her Sagar? He tells Ganga that he did so much to surprise her and also asks if she will punish him like this? He tells Ganga to say something. Ganga closes her eyes as he comes to stand before her. He looks at her. He asks Ganga why was her eyes closed? He tells her to open her eyes. She turns her face away and Sagar gets angry. He tells her that he is leaving if she doesn't want to see his face. Sagar says he has to go to Delhi tomorrow so he will see her later. He begins to walk away. She asks Sagar what he meant to say. She yells at him that he just came today and will go tomorrow?

Sagar sits down on the stairs happily. He says this was his trick to make her open her eyes. He notices Ganga's tears. He asks why she is crying? He asks if maybe something went into her eyes. He asks Gangaa to let him see. Gangaa tells Sagar that he is in her eyes. They share an eye lock and he laughs at her. He tells Gangaa that she did not change at all. He tells her that no one can win from her in talks till date. Gangaa tells Sagar that he has changed though. He points out that he has grown tall a little and Ganga is still that small girl he knew. He tells her that he wants to look at her first. Ganga is all nervous. She turns to the other side. Sagar is confused at how much Ganga has changed. He tells her that she looks so beautiful. He asks her if she feel shy too. He laughs. Sagar tells Ganga that he cannot believe that she feels shy. She retorts as to why will she do so. He compliments her anger. Ganga replies that Sagar is also short tempered. Sagar talks to Ganga about how many girls are after him in college. She asks him about it. Janvi calls out for Sagar. He excuses himself to go to her. Ganga wonders who the girl is.

Sagar introduced Janvi to Ganga and she is left upset with the relationship that they both shared.  Ganga feels bad when she realizes that Sagar doesn't like the sweet he used to love.  Ganga meet Sahil and she catches him taking her photographs without her permission, she begins to fight with him. Sagar and Janvi intervened and they introduce Sahil to Ganga.  Ganga takes Sagar aside and enquiries about Janvi. Sagar lies to her and maintain that they are only friends. At home,  Ganga continues to be affectionate towards Sagar by recalling his eating habits during childhood. Madhvi and Prabha are not happy to see Gangaa's love for Sagar.
