As the world celebrates the beginning of a new year in 2019, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, the leading Candidate for the 2019 Anambra South Senatorial District under the platform of the Young Progressive Party - YPP and the Chief Promoter of the Afa Igbo Efuna Movement, in a press release personally signed and released by him today, has identified peace and normalcy as instruments capable of promoting progress, prosperity and the wellbeing of any society.
In his new year message, Dr. Ubah eulogizes members of his family, friends and supporters as an eventful 2018 comes to an end; he therefore urges everyone to shift momentum into the new calendar year which holds great prospects for us as a people.
He notified that the past 12 months have been marked by noteworthy achievements and change for him and his family, and there are reasons to have enormous pride in the accomplishments of the past year just as he looks forward with enthusiasm to the new year.
As the new year presents a great opportunity for people to write a new chapter in their lives, personally and collectively as a people, Dr. Ubah says, "this is a perfect time to reflect on the core values and traditions that placed us at the global forefront as the Giant Of Africa.
"We stand today at a place, when the challenges and sacrifices of the recent year have given us the confidence to achieve the goals of a better future.
"In this election year lies ahead tension and uncertainty about the progress of our nation, but our primary focus must be to address within our homes, constituencies and states, those issues which give us the greatest chance of improving our quality of life by voting in vision-driven leaders and representatives.
"It is my earnest prayer that 2019 would usher peace and normalcy which would promote progress, prosperity and the wellbeing of all sections of our society. Happy new year and Best wishes," Dr Ubah concluded.
