Legendary jazz Zimbabwean musician, Oliver Mtukudzi has died.

Mtukudzi's record label Gallo Records confirmed the news on Wednesday afternoon.

The musician's family is set to release a statement on his death.

An outpouring of tributes has already flooded social media.

Renowned for his African beat centering on commentary on social affairs, the 66-year-old veteran musician was about to release his 67th album before his death.
