Man claims 11-yr-old girl got pregnant after coming in contact with a cloth he used while masturbating

A 33-year-old New York man, Robert Cronin claims he never had sex with an 11-year-old girl who gave birth to his child.

Cronin says the young girl, who was known to him, became pregnant with his child after she came in contact with an article of clothing he had used to masturbate.

Cronin, who lives in upstate New York with his fiancee and five children, has been arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and felony predatory sexual assault against a child younger than 13.

Though he is not denying the DNA evidence that proves he is the father of the child, Cronin claims he never physically abused the girl.

Police say the 11-year-old is known to Cronin, but did not disclose their relationship. 

The girl gave birth recently and she and the baby are being safely cared for in Child Protective Services, police said. 

Police said in a felony complaint that between February and March of 2018, Cronin raped and impregnated the girl.
