Dauda, was arrested in Cement Bus Stop on Lagos – Abeokuta Expressway on his way to Oshodi, Lagos on Tuesday evening.
He was sighted by the officers at the Cement Bus Stop. When searched, the gun was found in his pocket.
The suspect was arrested in company of his friend, Mubarak Afiz, 25.
The suspect on interrogation stated he saw the painted toy gun on the ground.
The Lagos State Commissioner of Police directed that the suspect be transferred to the FSARS for further investigations.
