OPINION: Ifeanyi Ubah Goes To Senate Part 2

According to John C. Maxwell, a leader is ‘one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way’. It goes without saying therefore, that leadership is essentially action-driven and not the vicious cycle of empty speeches that characterize the political landscape of present day Nigeria. Sadly, the present realities of the nation have made the possibility of good governance a dream that is bigger than the dreamers.
On the contrary, regardless of the political disillusionment that may have dashed the hopes of the people, there is always a bright side in any ugly situation because every cloud has a silver lining. Fortunately for the people of ANAMBRA South, they need not look far as that silver lining is no other than Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah (Ebubechukwu-Uzo).

From humble beginnings, Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah is a testament of the fact that it is not the years in a man’s life that matters, but the life in a man’s years. He is the quintessence of a contemporary visionary leader. He is one, who always aspires to make better his best. Such is the perfect definition of a contemporary and visionary leader in this 21st century. It is quite disheartening to see those elected into power turning themselves into demi-gods and listening only to those who dance to their whims and caprices. The question now is: how long will the people of Anambra South continue to tolerate this form of political mediocrity? They need not wait any longer as Ebubechukwu-Uzo is already beckoning on them to come on-board his ship of transformation as he desires to represent the people of Anambra South Senatorial District in the National Assembly come 2019.
Ebubechukwu-Uzo exemplifies benevolence, diligence, philantrophism, empathy, accountability and integrity. Dwight D. Eisenhower once said, ‘the supreme quality of leadership is unquestionably integrity’. It would be a great disservice to humanity if a man with these outstanding qualities is not given the nod to represent his people. A man whose philantrophism has transcended heights without occupying any position of power has the absolute trust of the people. If he can affect lives while not occupying any political position, then one can only imagine the greater heights he will take the people to once given the mandate to represent, lead and not rule.

Dr. Ubah (Ebubechukwu-Uzo) is a rare gem, a proven leader with a futuristic vision and one who knows how to turn his ideas into real-world class success stories. These success stories abound, from Capital Oil and Gas; one of the biggest conglomerates to FC Ifeanyi Ubah, to mention but a few.

Therefore, come 2019 elections, Anambra Southerns should stand with Ifeanyi Ubah for Senate. They should not look beyond Dr. Ubah (Ebubechukwu-Uzo), rather they should look deep into the content of his character and x-rayed what he has achieved as an individual for himself and his people and what he will achieve for them when given political power. For he is indeed a man whose actions are louder than his words and his word is his bond.
