Zeeworld: Monday November 12th Update On Gangaa

Babli says her eyes are weak and she wear specs but still she cannot tell this to the groom’s family as Prabha aunt has told her not to and she is not fond of cooking, sewing but she will have to agree with others as they want it to be that ways. It is her life but someone else is taking all the decisions for her and maybe this is what happens with every girl as no one thinks about what she wants or thinks. Gangaa gives her Akshay’s test results that she will pass her if Babli say so. Babli sadly says it doesn’t matter as her aunt wants this alliance to happy and it doesn’t matter what she say.

Babli’s father decides to talk about all what will be given in the marriage. Niranjan disagrees that dowry is wrong and he cannot let anything wrong happen in his house. He almost gets into a verbal spat with his brother-in-law when Akshay’s parents tell them that Akshay is also against dowry. He will get upset if he finds out that they are talking about it and he is their only son and they want a good wedding. Niranjan feels good. Akshay’s mother wants to hear it from Akshay if he likes Babli or not.

Sagar leaves from the room when Babli comes there. Gangaa meets Sagar. She refuses to go with him to eat breakfast and goes towards the room. Akshay tells Babli about Delhi that it is a very good city and it means freedom and he is the only son of his parents so he came back here and asks what have she thought?. He asks Babli to tells him something about herself and what are her dreams?. Babli starts crying. She runs out of the room without saying anything. Gangaa is standing by the door.

A concern and worried Akshay asks Gangaa what happened to Babli. He asks if she say something wrong?. Gangaa nods and tells him to ask her about her. Gangaa tells Akshay the full truth of Drishti ( Babli ) after Drishti runs out the room by showing Babli’s result to Akshay. She tells him that Babli wants to study but her father is pushing her for marriage. Akshay is taken aback and says no one has told him anything about it. Gangaa replies that how will anyone know when they don’t ask her anything. She is a girl so she has to do what she is told. She hasn’t cooked any of the items that are there downstairs and she has not sewn at all. She cannot see without specs which is why she dropped tea and this isn’t right.

Akshay very sweetly asks Gangaa what he should do. She folds her hands before him pleading him to tell everyone that he don’t want to marry her and as he is a boy so they will listen to him. Akshay reasons that Babli’s problem may not go away that ways or she will be happy or her father won't fix her alliance somewhere else. He adds that he have a condition if she want him not to marry her sister – she ( Gangaa) will have to marry him. On hearing this, Gangaa shakes her head in shock. He smiles and leaves from there.

Sagar asks Gangaa if everything is fine. She remarks that everything has gone wrong and this guy is very bad. Sagar finds him good but she says that guy is very smart and he didn't ask her for marriage so she don’t mind and that he asked for her hand in marriage. Sagar is taken aback. Akshay comes downstairs. He tells his parents that Drishti is not the kind of girl that he is looking for. Everyone is shocked. Babli’s father looks upstairs at Babli. Niranjan and everyone talk in Drishti’s favour. Akshay says she knows everything that she is way too good. She cooks everything at home so he won't be able to go outside to have food.

He adds that he like branded clothes whereas she likes to sew. Amma confesses the truth in haste that it was all Prabha’s plan and they made a mistake. Akshay says his parents made the same mistake, they spoke too highly of him and he is not a genius like his daughter. Akshay further says his father got him admitted in the college by paying donation and Drishti is very talented and no one has asked for her opinion. That should happen as it is such an important matter of her life and he too didn't realise it but that little girl explained things to him. Amma and her son-in-law gets angry hearing Gangaa’s name whereas everyone else is happy. Akshay continue that Drishti is much better than him in everything so it should actually be her decision and he will also agree for this alliance if Drishti says yes. He directly asks Drishti if she will say yes to him.

Babli is all shy and her father is angry by Akshay’s behaviour but Akshay tells him clearly that his decision will be acceptable to his parent’s and she ( Drishti) can call and tell his father what she decides. He leaves with his parents but returns to pick up his mother’s phone. He adds that he won't mind it if Drishti agrees to marry him and wants to study afterwards. He have done MBA so his wife too should atleast be a graduate and he think specs will suit her face a lot. Babli is smiling shyly after listening to his words and opinion.

Amma finds it all rubbish. Niranjan happily explains to her that Akshay has liked Drishti. Prabha takes credit for it but goes quiet after seeing Babli’s father’s straight face. They all enjoy Jalebis. Niranjan personally feeds his brother-in-law sweets and goes to his study room. Amma and her sister-in-law look at each other.

Babli thinks of Akshay’s words and she is all smiles. Sagar and Ganga come there. They decide to tell Gangaa’s version of truth to Babli not to marry that guy as he is very smart and when she ran away from the room crying then he asked her to get married to him. She further asks Babli Isn’t he over smart?. Babli smiles and says he too would have asked her the same question if he was a guy?. Gangaa tries to explain but Amma interrupts her that Babli is upset as Akshay agreed for the alliance?. Babli’s father yet again calls Gangaa a servant. Amma scolds Gangaa for talking to that guy when she had told her against it and also proved them a liar. Amma asks Gangaa who is she to speak in between her family matters?

Babli tries to say something when her father angrily tells her to go out of the room. Niranjan comes there. Amma continue to blames Gangaa for proving them a liar before Akshay and his family. Gangaa reasons that she only told the truth as Amma and uncle had lied. Prabha adds fuel to the fire. Amma's sister-in-law says she won't be able to bear it anymore as one’s respect in their own hands and she don’t want to talk to servants or he would have shown her her right place today. Amma tries to take Gangaa away to punish her but Niranjan tells her to let it be as everything turned in their favour in the end and Gangaa not just helped them but she also helped Babli in a way. Niranjan adds that it is a good occasion so they should let bygones be bygones and promise to talk to her and Gangaa won't do it again. He takes Gangaa to his room.

Gangaa asks Niranjan what she has done and why is everyone scolding her?. She only said the truth and it isn’t wrong to speak the truth. She adds that her father always used to say that she shouldn’t be scared or fear anyone to speak the truth and this is what she did. Niranjan points out that Gangaa said so only because her father had said her to and she wasn't scared of Amma, Babli’s father or him?. Gangaa nods. He continues, that it is good to say truth and she have that confidence too but where did it disappear when Amma was stopping her from studying and why didn't she tell him the truth then?. Niranjan adds that she was quiet as she herself don’t want to study. Gangaa nods again. He explains that one can do anything that she really want to do. No enemy, obstacles can stop him and he. can see the same spirit in her.

She can do whatever she want to and she didn't want to study so she didn't but they have decided not to push her for the same from now onwards. He promise to tell her sister not to come here. She asks him if he will be upset with her in case she doesn’t study. He replies that it is no point scolding her if she doesn’t want to. Gangaa is thrilled. She happily runs out of the room.

Madhvi is confused as they cannot ask the kids what they want. She further says they have to explain them and make them understand and that he listened to Gangaa so easily?. He knows that Gangaa is different from other kids. She will come to her herself when she will feel like studying and the day will come real soon. As far as she understand her, the day will come real soon when she will understand the importance of education and no one will be able to stop her then.

Gangaa happily comes to Sagar’s room and shares the good news with him. He is thrilled as the day went by nicely. He says his grandma and uncle got angry but Babli is very happy as she likes the groom. He asks Gangaa what kind of a groom she wants. Gangaa gets thinking and says he should be like Niranjan sir. Sagar says such tall and a guy with moustache?. She denies and says no moustache but he should be good like him, Niranjan sir. Sagar smiles and says he will tell his mummy that she want a groom like his father. She feels that Madhvi will get happy after hearing it. Sagar laughs at her cute answers and says she is little mad.

While Babli’s father is reading newspaper, Babli is doing prayer. Madhvi is happy to see her do so and ask who taught her this?. Babli says her mother used to do prayer like this only. Amma calls her daughter Suman a diamond but she left them in such a young age though and that Babli is just like her mother. Amma further says that she think of her after looking at her ( Babli) but she too are leaving them now. Niranjan reasons that they will be happy to see Babli happy. He turns to Babli and tells her that they all liked Akshay and he liked her. Niranjan further says she must have heard what he had said when he was leaving and the decision is in her ( Babli) hands. Gangaa is watching everything from a distance. Babli’s father interrupts them saying the elders of the house make all the decisions of life and what will Babli say?. Niranjan wants Babli’s opinion as she has to spend her life with Akshay after all and asks her if she like him?. Babli looks at Gangaa who shakes her head at her.

Amma sends Gangaa away. Niranjan asks Babli again. Amma says Babli will anyways feel ashamed before her father. Babli’s father gets up angrily and insist that he have decided that Babli will marry Dubey Sahab’s son. He walks out from there. Amma and Madhvi go to do something. Niranjan tells Babli that he is going to court for now but he will ask her again at night and she can tell him what’s in her heart without fearing anyone. He also promise to handle his brother-in-law.

Sagar is waiting for Gangaa as she hasn’t packed his bag yet. She comes running and tells him that she was drying the clothes. Since it is Sagar’s last exam today, he tells her to keep the kites ready. Pulkit is irked with Sagar for always depending on Gangaa and asks if he can’t do anything on his own?. Sagar replies that Gangaa readies everything nicely. She knows what he like and how and he don’t have to tell her anything. Sagar gives credit to Gangaa for doing everything perfectly for him and on time. Gangaa smiles hearing it.

Drishti comes to help Madhvi. Madhvi asks about her opinion and what have she decided? Babli too found him good that he seems to be a simple man and it isn’t enough to make a relation for life. She admit that they don’t know each other that well yet. Madhvi replies that this is what happens in arranged marriages and she have to trust on time and get married. Madhvi adds that she will eventually get to know everything about each other while living with each other and that everything falls in place easily when she start understanding each other. Madhvi further tells her not to think too much but to just follow her heart and leave everything else on God and everything will be good. She goes to check if the food is ready as the kids will return home hungry. Babli is in thoughts.

Gangaa instructs Maharaj what to make for Sagar and how he likes it. She goes to ready the kites for Sagar as he will shout for it otherwise. He cannot do anything without her. Maharaj smiles while she runs out hurriedly. Madhvi comes to ask Maharaj if he has made Sagar’s favourite dishes. He replies that Gangaa has reminded him atleast 10 times since morning. Gangaa comes to tell Maharaj about another dish. Madhvi teases her about her concern for Sagar. Gangaa repeats what Sagar had said in the morning. Madhvi is relieved and says now she don’t have to worry about what Sagar wants and he can ask Gangaa. Gangaa goes out to check whether Sagar has come or not. Maharaj thinks of Gangaa’s attachment to Sagar. She thinks that only she has all the rights over him and plead to Lord to take care of the little girl’s pure heart.

Babli’s father comes to Amma’s room. She gets up when she notices him. He talks to her regarding Niranjan that he is a little concerned about him and asks what was the point of asking for Babli’s opinion?. He says this is not an age for one to understand what’s right for wrong for himself and Babli is at a very tender age. She can fall for anyone’s words in this age and that girl ( Gangaa) was instigating her yesterday but he cannot understand why she ( Amma) have kept her in the house. She agrees with him and says Niranjan felt pity for her and brought her home. Niranjan's wife too had to support him so she showers motherly love on her. Sagar too has become fond of her and he never plays with anyone else now and remind her son-in-law that he know about Sagar so she thought it is okay if he is happy because of an orphan girl. He nods and says he is happy if he is happy. He asks her ( mama ) if Sagar supports that girl a lot. She nods and says Sagar cannot bear it if anyone says even a word against that girl. Niranjan scolds her if she is wrong but no one dares to say anything to Gangaa before Sagar and wonder what black magic she has done and she have given up.

Omkar asks her what if these two kids get into a fight, as they are kids after all and they will understand what they will tell them. Omkar tells Amma that he plans to create differences between Sagar and Gangaa. He adds on that the kids have no brains of their own at this age and there is only one weapon to explain anything to kids – love and affection.

Mary comes upstairs to clean but Gangaa tells her to do it later as she is readying the kite for Sagar and he will play with her as soon as he is home. They bicker as usual. Sagar returns home but he sits down with Gangaa to look at the kite. Amma and her son-in-law Omkar come there. Amma tries to talk to Sagar about his exam and showers love on him. Pulkit walks by after telling them that his exam went fine and he is going to his room to do online chatting with his friends. His uncle is irked with him for talking in English. Pulkit apologizes saying he has no idea what it is called in Hindi. Sagar begins to go to fly the kite when his uncle stops him and says he thought he will come to learn chess from him.

Sagar agrees to do it in evening and then says he want to fly kite as of now. Amma diverts him saying it is very sunny outside. But his uncle Omkar lures him for teaching him smart techniques assuring him that he will learn it easily and it is a game of intelligent people. Sagar agrees and leaves with his uncle. Gangaa calls out for Sagar that he have got Kheer ( pudding ) made for him. He tells her to send it in his uncle's room. Amma is happy to see her sad that their plan is gradually working. The female maid named Mary comes back to tease Gangaa again that she was so anxious to play with Sagar and asks what will she do now?. Gangaa confidently gives her a fitting replies that he has agreed to do it in the evening and asks what if he faints in this heat?.

As Omkar and Sagar sit down to play chess, Omkar talks about Niranjan that he is a very good player and Sagar too must know about it. Sagar answers his questions correctly. He talks about the King and Vazir (commander) and that it is a Vazir’s Dharma to fight for his King but in the end, the King is the winner. Sagar is confused. Omkar talks about equality that fights happen between two kings and these soldiers, Vazirs, etc are merely pawns in the game. He intentionally gives Gangaa’s example and calls Gangaa a servant.

Sagar denies but his uncle Omkar tells him to understand his importance after all that he ( Sagar  ) is a King and no soldier can match a King’s order and it is his duty to follow his King’s orders, one should always keep their soldiers at a distance and he ( Sagar  ) too don’t have to be so nice with Gangaa. He try to convince Sagar to make Gangaa do all the work but to think of himself as above her and to always make the other person bend down before him if he want to rule. Sagar is in thoughts regarding this.
