OPINION: Elections 2019 - Nigerians Decide! Behold The True “Biafra” Referendum

(6) KINGSLEY CHIEDU MOGHALU is a firebrand, a young leader Nigerians have been clamoring for!  A firebrand is a person who is passionate about a particular  cause, typically inciting  change and taking radical actions.

 INTRODUCTION

Anyone who calls for a boycott of 2019 elections must be ignored by every peace-loving and patriotic Nigerians. Whether there are possibilities of rigging the elections or not, Nigerians should troop out en masse to vote and decide their future and surely that of generations to come. General elections Day in 2019 is the most unique occasion, perhaps the last opportunity for Nigerians to say “YES” to “UNREALISTIC ONE NIGERIA” or a “RESTRUCTURED NIGERIA”. The UNO (United Nations Organization) or AU (African Union)  is a toothless bulldog, a fraud, as far as  fair-play in the modern world  is concerned. What roles have these two world and African organizations- UNO and AU – played to restore peace in troubled regions of the world? What does history tell us about their ‘mediation’ during the Nigeria-Biafra War (1967-1970)? Please forget about a referendum to be organized by these bodies to settle Nigerian political crisis which began as back as 1914 or Biafra agitation for self-determination. They can’t do anything.

THE REFERENDUM COMES FEBRUARY 2019 – NIGERIANS DECIDE

The IPOB and its leadership should be informed if they are not yet aware that the much-wished referendum for Nigeria’s future comes up soon. Nigerians have to choose between ATIKU ABUBAKAR (PDP), MUHAMMADU BUHARI (APC) and PROF KINGSLEY CHIEDU MOGHALU (YPP). It is a rare opportunity for Nigerians of every tribe or ethnic group to decide either to discard the old brigade-politicians and their political unions and install a completely new vibrant young political leader and an unknown political party “YOUNG PROGRESSIVE PARTY” (YPP). It is time for Nigerians to say “NO” to recycling of old politicians that have marred the progress of young talented Nigerians.

Nigerians must troop out en masse and vote and decide the future of generations to come. They choose PDP (New Wine in Old Wine Skins), APC the party that has set development in Nigeria more than 50 years back and again (whose leadership is under contention) OR a fire brand, young intelligent patriotic Nigerian  who has vision and may likely be in the position to fix Nigeria.  Any mistakes will be disastrous and so what the people sow, that they reap for years to come. That exercise will test the validity of the  IPOB clamor for REFERENDUM. There may be no other opportunity for any other “REFERENDUM”  in Nigerian history!Hope we know what “REFERENDUM” is all about?

THE REFERENDUM – “EVERY REGION IN NIGERIA  WANTS THEIR “BIAFRA”, “AIRLINES” & “ELECTRICITY”

In the most honest, patriotic and radical exposition of the future of the Nigeria state, a trustworthy Nigerian, now late General Joseph Achuzia told Biafran agitators and all Nigerians to stay calm. Achuzia reminded them that “each Region of Nigeria” wants their (own) ‘BIAFRA’. The Hausa-Fulani wants their Biafra (AREWA REPUBLIC), the Western Region wants their Biafra (ODUDUWA REPUBLIC), The Mid-West wants their Biafra (DELTA REPUBLIC), The Eastern Region wants their Biafra (REPUBLIC OF BIAFRA) ETC. It is not only the IGBOS, Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB who want Biafra! DO YOU UNDERSTAND? Anyone who doesn’t see sense in General Achuzia’s Restructuring formula must be seen as an enemy of progress, peace and stability in this part of West Africa.

WHY NIGERIANS SHOULD PARTICIPATE IN THE 2019 “REFERENDUM”

2019 election in Nigeria is a referendum for peace or chaos. The people must choose between light and darkness! Many well-meaning Nigerians, young and the elderly know that UNITED STATES OF NIGERIA is a nightmare!  “UNRESTRUCTURED  ONE NIGERIA” is a hoax!  This is why there is no light (ELECTRICITY)! This is why “NIGERIAN AIRWAYS” could not function. But you have Ethiopia, Kenya, Ghana, South African Airways! However Biafra airways will function 24/7. It worked 1967-1970. In Biafra today there will be light (ELECTRICITY) 24/7!

 It will be possible in the other three or four  ‘Republics’ (Regions).  Most Nigerians want their “Biafra” and they will work hard to develop  their new Republic. They will be proud of their Biafra. They will recall their brothers and sisters who had fled the land (over 40% of the youths). And the returning exiles will find enviable, truly comfortable and safe  environment to settle, re-populate the abandoned towns and villages and rebuild the collapsed infrastructures. There will be less looting of “National Cake”. Who says that looting of national treasuries will never stop in Nigeria? Ignore such a writer and prophet of doom. Restructuring will be a panacea for looting and theft in the Republics! The elected leaders of the people will be held accountable for any abuses starting from the president and his party!

THE AIRWAYS WILL RESURRECT

All Nigerians need to take note of the following (a)BIAFRA AIR will fly 24/7! Biafra had more than 3 airports (1967-70) and hundreds of pilots and engineers. No white man was needed. (b) AREWA AIR will fly! (c) DELTA-MID-WESTERN AIRLINES will function and put foreign airlines out of business in this part of West Africa. (d) ODUDUWA WESTERN AIRLINES will fly 24/7. This scenario is a pointer to Nigeria’s future. THE ELEPHANT NIGERIAN AIRWAYS has been grounded many years ago. NIGERIAN BOEING 747 could not fly!  It collapsed and died a natural death! This is the correct idea of RESTRUCTURING which many honest, sincere, peace-loving Nigerians are talking about. Any other thing is chaos and catastrophe!

ON THE POLITICAL FRONT – WHICH WAY NIGERIA?

Anything, everything is possible in Nigeria. Whether the man at the Aso Rock is Alhaji Muhammed Musa Ahmed or General Usman Dankwa Tinker, Nigerians don’t want to know. Sahara Reporters, Dr Damages, Adeola Fayehun, senior and world renowned  journalists, including REUBEN Abati,  who interview great men and women, foreign and local, who make history, are unable to tell Nigerians the ‘TRUTH’ about the man at the ASO ROCK. They are unable to interview BUHARI face to face. Sorry.

There is not much we ordinary citizens can do. Nigerians don’t care. They are not worried. Why should Nnamdi Kanu not leave those people alone and calmly face the task of representing and leading Igbo-Biafra delegation to the conference table?   Biafra can only be located and will only  function in Biafraland, not in Israel or in the air! OHANEZE NDIGBO, together with Biafrans in the Diaspora will join hands to achieve peace at a conference table.

ATIKU OR BUHARI – NEW WINE IN OLD WINESKIN

Most Nigerians know that the ATIKU-PDP leadership is “New Wine in Old Wine Skin”. Even though elections will be rigged, should that be enough reason to boycott 2019 elections? In the most powerful democratic nation in the world, America, someone insisted that their mid-term election conducted a few weeks ago was rigged. Their ‘INEC’ officials had to recount millions of ballot papers!! One also finds certain evils, cover-ups, and nauseating contradictions in policies and operations in ‘developed’ and ‘most civilized’ nations of the world!

WHAT MOST NIGERIANS DON’T KNOW ABOUT BUHARI/JIBRIL STORY

NIGERIA IS GOVERNED BY A CABAL The word ‘Cabal’ in the Nigerian context simply means, ‘a group of persons, secretly united and engaged in secrets of governance, which suits their religious, economic, cultural and political interests ,and as well those they represent. They run or overthrow governments!

There are no border controls in Nigeria. Fulani Empire extends to Chad, Niger, Mali, Morocco, Libya, Mauritania, Gambia, Ghana, Sudan and even Saudi Arabia!  And of course to Northern Nigeria. In Ghana the government has silenced the Fulani bigots, their Boko Haram terrorists, herdsmen fighters and Islamic jihadists.   Meanwhile their headquarters is located in Northern Nigeria. No one should expect their youths to attack or expel one of their own! BUHARI or JIBRIL what difference does it make to Fulani community if one of their kinsmen is the president of Nigeria and comes from SAUDI ARABIA, EGYPT OR IRAN!

There are no ‘conditions’ and ‘qualifications’ for citizenship in Nigeria. In America before you get a GREEN CARD you must have attended 3 interviews and recited pages of American History. So the Northern Cabal can install any FULANI or MOSLEM LEADER from among their brothers. It is in the OIC Charter.

THE POROUS NIGERIAN BORDERS!

It is ONLY IN NIGERIA that a nation’s borders (land, sea and air) are ‘manned’, ‘protected’ or ‘guarded’ by the most corrupt, incompetent, unpatriotic and dangerous ‘security men and women’ – customs officials, army and police.  Elsewhere only officers with proven high integrity, national intelligence agencies, (the likes of CIA, KGB, and MOSSAD) are deployed at the nation’s borders.

 In Nigeria, at the airport (coming and going, entrance and exit), pay a bribe and you and your luggage will not be inspected or searched, no matter what you are carrying(drugs, human parts, bombs etc)  In more than two occasions I have watched the Nigerian customs officials as boarding passengers - White, Brown and Black - paid their ‘tithes’ and were allowed to pass security checks without any form of checks or control!

Once it was my turn at the Muhammad International Airport, at the last most sensitive electronic checkpoint. I refused to offer the bribe. The angry customs officers ransacked my luggage and poured abuses on me. I picked up my scattered stuff, took note and went my way very sad. At all airports all over the world, customs officers are very strict at check points and place the safety of their nations and people first and above all selfish gains.

ATIKU- PDP MANIFESTOS ON RESTRUCTURING!

In the recently released ATIKU-PDP Manifesto, the only area that might interest most Nigerians, including Biafranists and Nnamdi Kanu is the Restructuring Agenda. Going through the entire document, whose motto looks like “Get Nigeria working again, come 2019”, one sees the usual ‘paradisiacal’ promises politicians usually make. No problem with those sections of the document. APC promised CHANGE, and FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION and Nigeria did not move even an inch forward politically, economically, religiously, culturally, socially, peacefully or anywhere near the “Promised Land” in a new Nigeria. And national and international dissatisfaction with APC has no parallel in world history!

ATIKU-PDP AND “ONE NIGERIA”

What can ATIKU and his PDP offer Nigerians? What are they up to? At the first sight onRESTRUCTURING AGENDA, the manifesto looked like Gowon’s “To Keep Nigeria One is a Task that must be done!” It looked like BUHARI’S “Nigerian sovereignty is not negotiable! PDP policy or idea of Restructuring is boldly stated and clear: “All who support the call for restructuring our federation are united in their desire to live in a society that works better for its people. They are also united by their love for their country, their patriotism. Those who do not love their country would just want it to break up; they would not be interested in making Nigeria work better.

There is no need for guess work   or generalizations! There might be a great need for a “National Referendum” or “Opinion Survey! Here one finds the heart, the center of Nigerian problems. The people must decide!  The problems  began in 1914 and have gotten worse! The experiment or expected miracle ‘to make Nigeria work better’ brought about the first and subsequent military interventions in Nigerian history, and lastly a civil war! This is why Nigeria has no AIRLINE and no ELECTRICITY. And without just only ELECTRICITY, nothing will work in any nation.

YPP - MOGHALU RESTRUCTURING AGENDA – “MY VISION FOR OUR COUNTRY”

MOGHALU IS THE RIGHT LEADER – Super-intelligent, honest, and sincere! THE Young Progressive Party (YPP) MANIFESTO gains support of large number of eminent Nigerians, elites and political analysts. We don’t need to enumerate them here. YPP RESTRUCTURING AGENDA addresses the issue well and has no intention of deceiving anybody. “Every region of Nigeria wants their Biafra” (Achuzie). If you get your “Biafra” you develop it and enjoy the fruits of your labor!

CONCLUSION

Should Nnamdi Kanu negotiate with ATIKU, MOGHALU or any other acceptable leader the Cabal presents? Yes, of course! From investigations the following views are widely shared by most honest patriotic Nigerians, Igbos, Annangs, Itshekiris, Ijaws, Yorubas, Efiks, Urobohs, name them . A good leader is also a good listener. These are simple but serious and honest demands. And Nnamdi Kanu can’t ignore such requests

(1)    Good and successful leaders and negotiators need to develop nice decorum and non-aggressive mindset to handle difficult issues and also to discuss even with their enemies.

(2)   Language of address must always remain friendly and never abusive, no matter the subject or audience. Every good leader is expected to lead by example. This is what has failed and ruined Nigeria!  Therefore Nnamdi Kanu must caution some of these extra-hysterical, disrespectful, and abusive ‘Biafranists’  and IPOB fanatics, who confront and see any other person who fails to agree with them as enemies! These  fellows are great despoilers! They need to be cautioned to stop terrorizing fellow citizens, Nigerians, and foreigners and communities everywhere and anywhere, including in the churches and  social media.

(3)    Nnamdi Kanu, is the like of Chiedu Moghalu. NNAMDI KANU, a passionate young Igbo leader may not promise Nigeria or the Cabal fire and brimstones if they fail to take his ‘commands’. That is irresponsible attitude. Until Biafra materializes, we are all Nigerians. He can’t contradict himself and his honest followers. He has told the world, affirmed strongly that there is no more war, no armed conflict as Nigerians  peacefully fight for their BIAFRA and  liberation from Islamic tutelage.

NNAMDI KANU and his honest followers should be encouraged to read and comprehend the great philosopher, novelist and essayist George Santayana: LISTEN! “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. Those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it” . Think about the implications of these sayings; first, not just for BIAFRA and IGBOS  but much more for NIGERIA, INCLUDING THE BRITISH and their ALLIES!
