Ubah honoured as 2018 most influential philanthropist in Nigeria

The Council of Presidents of Student Union Government (SUG) in the South East Geopolitical Zone on Saturday, honoured Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah as the 2018 most influential philanthropist in Nigeria. The student leaders jointly presented the award to Dr. Ubah at the Ifeanyi Ubah International Stadium Nnewi during the official launch of the Africa Football Revolution Initiative that is meant to produce one footballer from every family in various parts of the country especially in the Southeast geopolitical zone.

During the Award presentation, the coordinator of the South East Student Leaders who is also President of the Student Union Government of the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Enugu Mr. Monday Ani described Dr. Ubah as man with a heart of gold. He also said that the selfless and humanitarian services of the oil magnate to mankind are overwhelming and that was why the students of South Eastern Nigerian unanimously agreed to honour him.

In his response, Dr. Ubah thanked the Student leaders for bestowing the honour on him and urged them to be good ambassadors of the students and the country everywhere they are. He also reiterated his will to always do his best in empowering the youths who are mostly students. He also told the student leaders to always bear in mind that Nigerians are looking up to the youths because they are the leaders of tomorrow and urged them not to disappoint the nation.
