The Magical Wand of the Patriotic Patrick: Invasion and Ubahnization of China

Over the years, the only person known for availing Nigerians both old and young of diverse ethinc background with foreign exposure is Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah. A couple of years back, he took on his train some top government and elected officials both the immediate past Deputy Speaker Federal House of Representatives Emeka Ihedioha, Current Governor of Enugu state His Excellency Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi(when he was a member House of Representatives), Former People's Democratic Party National Publicity Secretary Chief Olisa Metuh and a host of others to China as they toured his shipping yard and other businesses owned by Ifeanyi Ubah.

He then sponsored single handedly over 50 Nigerians to watch the first ever FIFA World Cup hosted on African soil by South Africa in 2010. He repeated same feat with an increased number of people at the 2014 edition the FIFA World Cup hosted in South America's biggest economy Brazil. Ever since then Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah have not relented nor rested his oaks on making use of opportunities that provided platform to expose Nigerians. One of such was sponsoring of over 70 people(Yours truly was part of the contingents) to London in 2016 to seal the historic partnership between Capital Oil and Gas/FC Ifeanyi Ubah and West Ham United Football Club of London, as well as gracing the English Premier League game between West Ham and Arsenal. He then sponsored the entire FC Ifeanyi Ubah contingency of over 60 persons including players, management staff, technical crew, media team and supporters to grace her first ever CAF Confederation Cup game at Ismailia Egypt against Al Masry SC of Port Said in 2017.

When the FIFA World Cup 2018 hosted in Russia came calling, Dr. Ubah continued from were he stopped by leading a team of over 70 people under his bankroll to the Eastern European nation to support the Super Eagles and garner exposure that will shape their lives forever. In all these trips, beneficiaries always feel elated and humbled with such act of benevolence and humane by this Patriotic Nigerian have always showered words of gratitude to God for this great man.

Yours Truly happened to have spent one month in England touring and undergoing some exposure and seminars that has made me different and ready to make a mark thanks to the Ideas Bearer. On getting back to Nigeria, I met Dr. Ubah in Lagos, he then hinted me on another of foreign trips but this time around it was quite unique because it involves going for a trade fair in China and gathering knowledge vis a vis equipping mostly young men and women to start up enterprises for themselves with the aide of machineries they so desire to acquire. An elated me relinquished this opportunity because during my stay at England, I learnt about recycling of Plastics and Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), hoping to put it to use back home. Here an opportunity to learn more and perhaps secure a machine that will help in achieving that vision beckons thanks to the visionary leader.

On 27th August 2018, Dr. Ubah was the key motivational speaker and mentor of the year in the program "Mentoring Moments" hosted by RTN Ifeanyi Aniagoh who is the Senior Special Assistant on Digital Entrepreneurship to the Governor of Anambra State. In the course of that wonderful and mind blowing interactive session, The CEO of Capital Oil and Gas, selected at random 10 young people plus the traditional ruler of Ifitedunu HRM Eze Dr. Chukwuemeka Iluno that will be part of the 50 people whom he will sponsor to China for working visit to their Trade Fair beginning from 14th October 2018. He then charged others to continue chasing their dreams and reach for the sky as such tomorrow will be their day. The purpose of this visit will shape so many lives because participants will be given grants to purchase items, machineries or goods to boost their enterprises and expand it to create more jobs.

It's worthy of note that before now, in 2008 precisely, when earthquake ravaged the ancient historic country of China, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah individually donated 30,000 US Dollars to the Chinese government via their consulate in Nigeria. Upon that, Beijing called him and asked him to make request which will be given an express grant. As a humane and compassionate non-selfish person with the heart of his people, he requested the release of Nigerians in Chinese prisons and Beijing granted it by setting free 37 Nigerian inmates serving different jail terms in China. Seeing they had nothing, he chartered a flight for them back to Nigeria but not without giving them token of money each to start up a new life as the get home.

The aforementioned countries, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah have sponsored people to visit,  run strict visa policies but owing to his antecedents, access to those countries have been accelerated without hitches. China won't be an exception because of his previous track records with the technology hub of the World and lucky participants of this trip are looking forward to feel the magical wand of the Nobel Orchestra. Myself would be looking to do capitalize on the unique exposure I have got in London and back Nigeria with respect to recycling which is geared towards providing a healthier hazard free environment.

NB: The Unique thing about all these exposures is that people who embark on it are not only Ndi Nnewi nor Anambrians nor Ndigbo but cut across various tribes and ethnicities in Nigeria especially the youths.
