Community development is simply that practice of coming together by persons in the community to undertake group action and proffer common resolutions and challenges facing the community with the sole aim of elevating the standard of living of people, fundamentally on equality justice, and mutual respect.

The Capital Oil Boss, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah obviously means a whole lot of things to different persons in varied nomenclatures, but one can't conclude without mentioning his capabilities in community development.

The business Mogul is an ardent propagator of a popular Igbo developmental strategy termed "Akuluo Uno" hence the numerous visible establishments in his home State, Anambra.

Judging from past events, Ubah’s main goal is more of reaching out to his people and touching lives with his enormous wealth.

Through his company, Capital Oil Gas Ltd, Ubah has has given thousands of direct and indirect jobs to Nigerians while contributing his own quota to the economic development of Nigeria.

In futherance of his strategies in Youth's development, Ubah established Football Club Ifeanyi Ubah at his hometown, Nnewi, Anambra State. In less than one year of the club's establishment, he entered into a historic partnership with West Ham United FC of England and won the Nigeria FA Cup.

Ubah had previously roled out numerous styles of youth's developmental strategies which included the sponsorship of over 70 Youths to London in an all-expense-paid trip to witness the signing ceremony of the partnership with West Ham FC, over 80 youths to Egypt and another set of over 100 Youths from different states across the country in yet another all expense-paid trip to the recently concluded FIFA World Cup in Russia where he launched The African Football Initiative, popularly known as One Family, One Footballer, with the aim of providing one million footballs to African Children.

Ubah's community in Nnewi is arguably the only community in Nigeria that enjoys power supply every night for the past 15 years.

This same community has its roads paved with interlocking stones and functional streetlights courtesy of the Oil Magnet.

Throughout his life, Ubah has channlled all his social and business activities towards helping the society.

Dr. Patrick Ifeanyichukwu Ubah (Ebubechukwu Uzo) is an astute community developer worthy of emulation.
