Group warns Bianca to stop fighting Ojukwu’s family

The paternal family of Bianca, the widow of late Biafra warlord, Dim Chukwuemeka Ojukwu, has been advised by indigenes of Nnewi in Anambra State to tell their daughter to desist from rubbishing the name of Ojukwu or the family.

The group also vowed to stop Bianca’s coming into Nnewi if she doesn’t stop all her antics she has being pulling since the death of her husband Ojukwu, saying that if Bianca had not sued the Ojukwu family, they would have kept mute as usual.

The group, in a statement signed by its leader, Chief Sam Nwosu, said Bianca must stop rubbishing and attacking a family the group and Ndigbo holds so dear, noting that Bianca’s problem with the Ojukwu family is beyond her senatorial ambition.

The statement reads in part: “The Ojukwus were asked in separate interviews why they are not supporting Bianca, and they said they can’t support someone who didn’t tell them that she is contesting for a Senate seat. It is a total disrespect to a family of such calibre.

“Is it even right for Bianca to declare interest to run for Senate without informing the family of her husband?” We believed if Bianca had informed the Ojukwu of her interests to run for the Senate, probably, they would have supported her or at least kept quiet. Bianca got it wrong and she is being misled since her marriage into the Ojukwu family.

“For us, it is wrong for Bianca’s family to attack the Ojukwus instead of proffering solution to the issues in the family caused by their daughter Bianca.”
