[PHOTOS] Ubah in Nnewi for the grand finale of Afiolu festival

The Anaedo (Nnewi) communities have common ancestral beliefs, traditional value system and many cultural events which notable amongst them is the New yam (Afiolu) festival.

Afiolu festival is usually held annually in Nnewi around August and lasts for four market days according to Igbo calendar.

Today's event which marked the end of this year's festival was graced by notable personalities from the town including Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, the Capital Oil Boss and Anambra South Senatorial aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance.

Huge crowd chanting songs of solidarity surrounded the business Mogul as he made way in and out of the event's center.

He was also accompanied by the Transition Committee Chairman of Ekwusigo Local Government; Hon. Ikenna Oforgeme (Owelle), Nnewi North Local Government APGA Executives, all the Ward Chairmen and Local Government Working Committee, supporters and Stakeholders.
