August Meeting: Maduagwu praises women's contributions to development of churches, communities

The Speaker of House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Rita Maduagwu has extolled the contributions of women to the development of Churches and communities.

In her Goodwill messages to the women of the State as they embark on this year's August meeting in their various communities, Barr. Maduagwu noted that the meeting has continued to yield positive results in all ramifications.

The Speaker maintained that the State House of Assembly would continue to make laws and resolutions aimed at improving the living conditions of women in the State.

She advised women to show good example to their children especially the female folks by moulding them morally and socially to enable them become responsible women in the future.

Barr. Maduagwu commended the wife of the Governor, Chief Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano for her women empowerment programs in the state through her pet project "Caring Family Enhancement Initiative" (CAFE).
