The Odenigbo Ukpor of Anambra State made this known over the weekend in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital during a condolence visit to Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje over the death of his mother, Alhaja Aishat Abake Omo Agba Baraje, Royal News reports.
He enjoined governments at all levels to be more anticipatory at improving the economy and business environment by making business thrive so as to reduce the rate of hardship confronting the masses.
Ezeani said: “When the issue of insecurity and other challenges are well addressed, foreign investors and even Nigerian entrepreneurs would boost the nation’s economy thereby reducing the rate of unemployment particularly among youths.”
Chief Ezeani further recalled that the tenure of Alhaji Baraje as former Secretary of PDP and later as an acting National Chairman of the party was historic and eventful due to his contributions, proactiveness and immense strategies to the development of the party and the country at large.
Alhaja Ayisat Omo Agba Baraje died at the age of 96 and was buried the same day in accordance with Islamic rites
In his own condolence message, Odenigbo described the death of Hajiya Aisha as a big loss and a difficult vacuum to fill.
