Plateau schoolgirl in tears after she was told her Dad was killed by Fulani Herdsmen

It was a heartbreaking moment when a secondary school girl who had just returned from school for the holiday was told that her dad had been killed in the recent herdsmen-farmer clashes in Plateau State.


According to reports, Chap had just returned from school for the holidays, but was told she couldn’t go home because her community was attacked and she was taken to the IDP camp with the hope of reuniting with her parents and siblings.


However, on getting to the IDP camp in Heipang, she asked for her dad and was told that he was burnt to death during the crisis. Chap couldn’t hold back her tears.
