Man tied to a stake and beaten for raping 7-yr-old girl in Delta

There was a mild drama on Saturday afternoon in Warri, Delta State, as a middle-aged man, identified as Tenimu aka Agwa was caught pants down allegedly defiling a 7-year-old girl.


It was gathered that some youth from Odion community, where the incident happened, descended on the suspect after he had admitted to the crime and the victim’s parents placated.

The youth, wary of reporting the matter to the police, allegedly supervised a corporal punishment preferred on the suspect.


The suspect was described as an ex-convict who has always been in and out of prison. He allegedly lured the victim to a hideout and had a carnal knowledge of her.
