PHOTOS: Corps member drowns while talking selfie in Bayelsa

Corps members in Nembe Bayelsa State have been thrown into mourning after loosing one of their own on Friday.

According to reports, the unnamed young man who was posted to Ogbolomaibiri, a riverine community in Nembe L.G.A, Bayelsa state died after he slipped and fell inside the river while trying to take a selfie.


His fellow corps members who were with him before the incident could not rescue him due to their inability to swim. Local divers later found his lifeless body 30 minutes later.
