Children's Day Celebration: Anambra Speaker Advises Parents

The Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Rita Maduagwu has called both the National and State Assemblies to enact Laws that will guarantee adequate protection and training of children in the country.


In her goodwill message to mark this year's Children’s Day celebration, Barrister Maduagw enjoined parents to give proper home training and education to their children in other to appropriate the best in them.

The Speaker who described children as the pride of the family, advised parents to show equal love and not discriminate among them in anything.


She further charged children to take their studies seriously and abstain from acts capable of tarnishing the image of the family.

Barrister Maduagwu called on government at all levels and affluent citizens to offer scholarship and other assistance to the less privileged children to enhance their living condition.
