Zeeworld: Thursday April 12 Update On “Bride With Benefits” Episode 31-33

Payal’s haldi starts with people applying haldi on her and dancing on song Tu Gaddi….song.. Dev’s haldi also starts. Guddi applies him haldi first. Santoshi starts her overacting. Jogeshwar says the whole society will be surprised seeing his son’s haldi. The actress Sanjeeda Sheikh dances on Gori Hain Kalaiyaa Mor…song, Rashmi Desayi of Uttran fame dances next on song…Naam Tera Padke…Naam Tera Padke… They both then start dancing together on fashion Khatam…..song. Gulkan is seen heading towards her father-in-law's house in car. Jogeshwar starts dancing with Sanjeeda and Rashmi. Other family members join them. Gulkan is then seen getting  down from the car.



Jogeshwar hired security guards and asks them not to allow Gulkan in. Jogeshwar may pay a high price for trying to hide the truth from Gulkan as she she returns, again. The guards see her coming in and try to stop and misbehave with her but a nonsense Gulkan slaps them. Jogeshwar and everyone hear her voice and come out and see her shouting on the security. Jogeshwar asks the neighbors to get in. The neighbors point out that Gulkan will create havoc now and walk out. Gulkan tries to run in, but the guards hold her. Jogeshwar tells the gaurds that Gulkan is the daughter-in-law of their house and asks them to leave her. On the other hand, Indu’s neighbour praise Payal during her haldi ritual and tell her that their Chaibasa’s proud will be going to other city. Indu gets emotional listening to this.

Gulkan tells her father-in-law how can he stop her in her own house and yells at him. Jogeshwar tries to speak but Gulkan says she knows he hired the guards because of her. He says he did not. She then asks why will the guards stand outside without money and asks what is the issue with the guards and videographer. He asks her to calm down and says he hired the guards to safeguard the celebrities and he had asked them not to let uninvited people in and continues trying to convince her. Gulkan says she has brought people to sell the house and asks his father-in-law to calculate it's value. Santoshi goes to Dev’s room with Guddi and asks him to go and take bath. Dev goes in. Guddi says her brother will see Gulkan’s drama. Santoshi starts her overacting drama, gets worried, and locks the door from outside.

Gulkan’s brought the buyers and asks her father-in-law to tell the price of the house. Santoshi and Guddi come down. Jogeshwar gets tensed that Dev will see Gulkan and asks them why did they leave things up and come down. Gulkan asks what is up there. The buyers again asks Jogeshwar to tell the price. Jogeshwar lie that the house is cursed and because of it, he does not get 2 times food, his son left him and his daughter’s engagement broke. Gulkan asks him to stop his drama. Jogeshwar says he is telling the truth, and whoever buys the house will come under it's curse.

Dev comes out of the bathroom and tries to bangs the door to open it. Gulkan asks who is banging the door. Jogeshwar again lie that it is their servant Jugnu, that he got evil spirit, so he locked him in the room. The buyers gets scared and leave. Gulkan tells her father-in-law she knows it is his drama. Dev shouts out to open the door for him. Payal meanwhile dries her hair after taking bath, looks at her engagement ring and Dev’s gifted watch and smiles. Indu comes with suitcases and says these are her clothes and items for her. Payal asks why is she talking as if she will not come back forever. Indu says it is the ritual. Payal then asks why is she packing her water bottle, tiffin box etc., as if she will never come back. On hearing this,  her father gets emotional and says Payal will take only things necessary. Dev continue to bangs the door. Gulkan who doesn't trust her father-in-law runs to check. Knowing that he can not stop her, Jogeshwar purposely  steps on her saree and makes her fall down.


Jogeshwar steps on Gulkan’s sari and making her fall from the stair. He starts acting and signals Jaiswal. Santoshi also starts her overacting drama as if she is concern for her daughter-in-law. Jogeshwar asks her to bring haldi milk for his daughter-in-law. She brings it and thinks she is feeding milk to a snake. Gulkan says her brother has accrued loss in business, so she wants to sell the house and give him money. Guddi immediately calls her brother Ayodhya in order to inform him what is on ground. Gulkan asks her father-in-law to give her rent of the house.

Indu tells Payal she should not wear salwar kameez and wear saris only in her in-laws house and it is like giving them respect. Payal says respect is gained by values and not by dress code. Seeing that her perception is different from hers, Indu tells her to do whatever she likes. The marriage organizer comes and says he will make Payal’s marriage a grand affair as she is PWD engineer. Guddan asks what about the expenses. He says Payal is PWD engineer and Chaibasa’s pride, so it should be a lavish affair. Payal says she is just a government employee and wants her marriage in a minimal way. The organizer tells Bhuvaneshwar that is why his daughter is Chaibasa’s pride, and promise to do what Payal likes. Satish calls Payal and she asks him to come home.

Ayodya brings Gulkan to his brother-in-law’s house, makes her rest on bed and asks why did she go to his father's house without telling him. Gulkan's brother, Mithilesh asks how Gulkan is now. Ayodhya says she is fine and sleeping. Jogeshwar comes there and tells Mithilesh he will return his money but needs some time, adding that he does not want Gulkan to come there and insult him in front of the whole society. Mithilesh and his wife say they don’t know anything. Jogeshwar says she took the car to sell. Mithilesh says he does not know anything about the car and tells Jogeshwar that he can take his car. Gulkan comes out and asks her father-in-law why did he come to her brother house and asks if he wants to loot his brother more. Mithilesh scolds Gulkan for talking rudely to her father-in-law and asks her to return the car keys and money. Gulkan says he does not know her father-in-law but Mithilesh insists. She angrily gives the keys and money to her father-in-law and goes back to her room. Ayodhya smirks looking at his father. Jogeshwar asks Mithlesh again not to send Gulkan to his house and leaves.

Payal and Dev’s marriage looks set but Payal receives an order that may just change everything when her assistant Satish comes to Payal’s house and gives her a letter. Payal is shocked to see her transfer letter. Her father asks what is it. She says it is transfer letter and she has to join Devgarh office in 2 days. Indu panics hearing it and says one problems solves and another comes. Neelu says when she is on leave, how can she get transfer orders. Satish says Payal is government employee and she has to follow orders. Payal says she will go and speak to the commissioner. Indu says after haldi rituals she cannot go out. Payal says if she does not go, she has to cancel her marriage. Her father says rituals cannot bound any person and asks Payal to leave.


Dev asks his mother why did she not open the door when he shouted a lot. She says she did not hear his voice. Jogeshwar comes there, gives his wife money and asks her to keep it safe in the locker. Dev asks how did he get so much money. He says he got back the debt. He adds that just a few days he has to tolerate Santoshi’s food as Payal makes excellent food and also serves it well. Dev starts dreaming about Payal serving h food. The servant serves him food, but he calls Payal’s name. His father asks him to stop dreaming till marriage take place and laughs. Payal meanwhile meets the commissioner who says she has no other option than accepting the transfer. She says her marriage is in 2 days and the cards have been distributed and that her parents are tensed. He says he can give her order and forget till marriage, later she can think about the tranfer. Payal says she cannot do this. The commissioner says he is proud of her, but cannot help her.

Gulkan fuming reminiscing her brother Mithilesh insulting her by taking the car keys and money from her and giving it to her father-in-law. Mithilesh comes to her room with his wife and Ayodhya and asks her to have her food. She says she will not. Mithilesh asks why she needs money back from her father-in-law. She says she needed it for him as he has lost in business. On hearing this from his sister, he thinks his lie is backfiring him. He says he made a loss and will face it and that he does not need her help. Ayodhya thinks he should stop Gulkan from pestering his father. He asks her to not stress herself much and to look after her health.

Indu calls the priest and asks if Dev and Payal’s marriage can be preponed. He says no. Payal comes in and says she has to join Devgarh office in 2 days and has no other option than postponing her marriage. Indu yells at her husband Bhuvaneshwar that because of his leniance and overconfident, she is facing this day and asks Payal to resign from her job as marriage cannot be stopped. Payal says she cannot resign and once she joins, she cannot get leave for 3 months. Bhunaveneshwar says he will go and speak to Jogeshwar. Bhuvaneshwar goes to Jogeshwar’s house with Guddan and Rajath and informs them that the marriage has to be postponed for 6 months. Jogeshwar is shocked to hear that and says they can get Dev and Payal’s married in Devghar as he has decided to take care of Payal at any cost. Bhuvaneshwar says it is not possible and they have to find another plan as Payal has to work for 3 months without leave after joining. Jogeshwar panics seeing his plan failing. Santoshi as usual makes weird faces.

Indu is tensed regarding Payal’s marriage. The door bell rings and she thinks Bhuvaneshwar has come back, but Dev comes instead and says he came to meet Payal and needs her permisison as he promised not to meet her before marriage. Indu says after haldi, it is a bad sign. He says shagun and abshagun are made by human. Indu allows him in, asks him to sit on the sofa and asks Payal to speak to him. Dev asks what is all this. Payal says it all happened suddenly and there is no other way. He asks that means their marriage will be postponed, there must be some way which they are not thinking. Payal says only secretariat can stop the transfer. He looks at the marriage card and promises that their marriage will happen on fixed date.

Jogeshwar gets tensed about the marriage postponement and asks Jaiswal to think of a way. Jaiwal says there is one way. Guddan on the other side tells Rajath they should bribe the commissioner to stop Payal’s transfer. Jaiswal also suggests same and asks instead of money, he can take some other gift. Jogeshwar reaches the commissioner’s office with mango box as a gift for his help. The commissioner says he troubled them instead. Jogeshwar says he helped instead that day and say now he is in trouble due to Payal’s transfer. The commissioner asks him to sit and asks what he would have. Natru says he can have cool drinks any time, but if Payal’s marriage does not happen, he will be in loss. He says he brought special mangoes for him and says he knows he would not like mango seeds, so he has brought them for his superiors to stop Payal’s transfer. The commissioner says it is not possible.
