Zeeworld: Saturday March 31 Update On Lies Of The Heart Episode 477- 479 (contd.)

Continued from last update.......

Urmi talks with her father-in-law, while he keeps composing her and assuring her that Diya will be okay soon. She starts wondering about Ishaani. He is boggled too and says that he called her multiple times, but no-one responded back. They are both worried for Ishaani. She gets overwhelmed as she narrates that for the first time, Ishaani didn't consider her as an enemy, and addressed her as mother.

Just then, Damini composes herself and calls up Urmi, asking how Diya is, as she tells that she got to know from Ishaani, who had come home. She asks how Diya is. Urmi gives her the update. Damini says that she went out, leaving her phone behind, but doesn't know where she went. Urmi is tensed as to why she went home, without telling her anything and then left from there too. Damini asks if they got to know who was behind the attack, and Urmi says that they don't, but the police are already on it, and the minute they have any news, they will narrate it to her. Damini is tensed as she disconnect the call.

Meanwhile, Shaurya sits beside Diya’s bed holding her hand, waiting for her to open her eyes, remembering her moments with her. In her unconscious state, she starts feeling suffocated and gasping for breath. He hollers and the doctor along with the nurse, comes inside with Urmi and Anirudh. Shaurya and his family are shocked and tensed. The doctor asks the nurse to administer the injection to her. They hurriedly ask what happened, and the doctor without giving an update, asks them to go outside and let them do their work. Urmi and Anirudh resignedly take Shaurya out, who unwilling moves on, while keeping his eyes on Shaurya. They all wait tensedly outside. He comes to the temple inside the corridor, and stands in front of the lord’s idol with tear splotched eyes, shocked and appalled. As tears run down his cheeks, he asks how can Diya face this, when the lord exists, and asks the reason behind it. He asks why happiness always falls an inch short of meeting her. He folds his hands, and says that doing good never befalls any trouble or harm, and then asks why Diya is a victim now. He says that he has lost much in life, and now if anything happens to his mother or Diya, then he would forget about his existence altogether, and hence to prove himself, today the lord will have to miraculously save Diya, come what may. He eyes the lord’s idol with steely determination. Shaurya lights up an incense camphor, and holds it in his bare hands, as they burn into his hand, and tells the lord, that he will keep it alight in his hand, till the time Diya doesn't regain her conscious back. He says that he will force the lord to bring Diya back to him. The doctors continue to try and revive her, while Urmi and Anirudh watch it all tensedly, through the window panes. Diya starts flatlines, while the nurse and the doctor start losing hope, saying that they will not be able to save her now, as only a miracle can save her now. He says that he will keep standing here like this, until he finally relents in, and gives his Diya back to him, for their marital life ahead. Urmi rushes through the corridor. Just then, Urmi screams out at him, appalled to see him with such a resolve. Shaurya eyes her determinedly. Urmi comes there and tells him, while he waits with anticipation, that Diya regained her senses, and is out of danger. Shaurya is unable to believe it. Urmi says that the lord heard him. Shaurya places the camphor back from his burning hands, and rushes to Diya’s room, after having thanked the lord profusely. Urmi too folds her hands and thanks him profusely for his blessings on Diya and their family. She rushes inside too.


As Diya lies down on the bed, Shaurya watches her in glee from the doorway, while Anirudh stands by Diya’s bed. Urmi sits by her side. She asks Diya how is she, and Diya nods. Urmi hollers at Shaurya and asks him to come in and meet Diya. Anirudh asks him to come too. Shaurya comes in too. Urmi tells Diya about Shaurya’s whimsical challenge to the lord, after he saw her condition, that brought her back to life. Shaurya eyes her emotionally, relieved and overwhelmed as tears well up in his eyes. Diya eyes Shaurya boggled and surprised too. He smiles at her, and says that he had almost taken life out of him. Diya and Anirudh eye his hand, and ask what happened, that his hand burnt. Urmi tells them all about Shaurya’s swear in front of the lord. Diya eyes him while he smiles through his tears.

The  Goon’s hideout, Ishaani continuously tries to attempt to go out, but finds the door securely locked. She screams for help, but doesn't get any response. She wonders what she will do now, and how she would get out. Distraught, she collapses on the floor, into uncontrollable tears. Ishaani composes herself, and says that she will have to get out anyhow, and sets her mind to thinking. She starts looking around and rummaging through things, and finally finds canisters, which she places one atop the other, to try to create some height for her to climb upon, and then tries to break open the closed ventilator on the ceiling, with the help of a battered hockey stick to try and make a way out. She assures herself that she has to get out anyhow, as the goons might come back anytime. Just then, she hears the goon from the outside, that he is reporting to Damini, that when the evening sets in, they will kill Ishaani. She is scared hearing this.

Shaurya sits beside Diya’s bed, he smiles at her and asks if she is fine and okay. She complies and says that what he did wasn't okay. He eyes his burnt hands and then says that he can't imagine anything happening to her, and says what would he have done without her. He adds that the fact that he might lose her, made him go berserk. She eyes him tensedly, and then says that she is fine, and he shouldn't bother. Diya winces in pain, immediately alerting Shaurya. He rushes out and calls the nurse. The nurse says that the aneasthesia has worn out, hence it's paining, and it's time for the next injection. Diya gets scared like a little child about the injection. He tries to assure her, while she clutches at his arm unknowingly, while the nurse administers the injection. He keeps calming her down, and caressing her face. She realises that she is holding him, and then lets go abruptly, surprising him. He then turns to the other end, and then presses the hand where she got injected and tries to ease the pain, by blowing on it. She eyes him overwhelmingly with emotions. He continues to tend to her.


At Urmi’s residence and Goon’s hideout, a tensed and impatient Damini hurriedly calls up the goons who assure her that the work is done and that Ishaani is dead. After assurance, Damini still feels a stab of sadness and grief at having killed her own grand-daughter. But she composes herself, thinking that she might seem like the worst grandmother, but she had no other choice, as had she not killed Ishaani, then she wouldn't have been able to live on, and hence she didn't have a choice, and doesn't regret her decision. She then says that she has to think what she will the rest of the family tell about Ishaani.

In the hall, all are tensed for Ishaani, as they can't trace her anywhere. Anirudh and Urmi are frazzled, as to what's happening, first the shooting, and now this. He says that he doesn't understand who’s their arch enemy who’s doing this to them. All are tensed. Damini comes up and says that Jamdar might be behind this. She tries to instigate them into thinking, that he is doing this out of revenge, for his lost son, as he is their biggest enemy. She says that maybe Jamdar got Ishaani kidnapped too. Anirudh doesn't rule out the idea, and asks Shaurya to inform the police, so that they can investigate on him too. Anirudh is convinced, relieving Damini that they believed, and now she won't be doubted. They decide to rush to the station. But are shocked, then the inspector comes with his troop. Anirudh comes there and says that they were going there only, and narrates everything, as to what happened and what are their doubts. The inspector says that they finished their investigation and have finally caught the culprit. They are all shocked while Damini is tensed. He comes in with an arrest warrant for Damini Sinha. Damini is shocked, while Urmi and Anirudh are shocked and bweildered. She asks what nonsense is this, while Shaurya, Urmi and Anirudh are boggled. Damini asks what did she do, and asks them to get out. Anirudh calms her down, while explaining that she can't concoct a murder plan. She says that they doubt Jamdar infact. But just then, Ishaani comes in saying that she is lying. Damini is shocked to see her alive, and remembers what the goons said about killing her grand-daughter. Ishaani says that Jamdar didn't but she did. Urmi and Anirudh, along with Shaurya are shocked. Ishaani says that not only her, but she tried to kill her mother and her sister-in-law too. They are all shocked to hear this.

She asks the inspector to arrest her grandma. Damini tries to speak, but Ishaani shuts her up and asks her to stop the drama. Damini asks if she has gone mad. Ishaani says that she was mad till now, that she believed everything she said, and hated her mother, and couldn't see anything. Damini asks how is she talking like this to her grandma. Ishaani shuts her up, saying that she is a double faced hypocrite. Enraged, Damini raises her hand to slap her, but Ishaani holds it midway. All stand stunned, while Damini is surprised. Ishaani says that she isn't her mother, who would tolerate her nonsense. Urmi asks what and why is she talking like this. Anirudh asks what's causing her to react like this. Ishaani tells how she overheard everything, when her grandpa and grandma were fighting, and then tells them about how she heard her grandma giving a contract to someone to kill her mother. All are shocked, while Damini stands silent, tensed and worried for herself now. Urmi stands distraught and hurt, while Anirudh and Shaurya are furious. Urmi is unable to believe, while Ishaani says that the shooter had come to kill her mother, but Diya came in between to take the bullet. Urmi remembers the entire scene. Anirudh is angry beyond belief. He comes and confronts Damini, if she actually tried to kill her daughter-in-law, Urmi and asks if she actually stopped down that low. Shaurya asks how can she harbour this kind of enemity that she went on to get her killed. Urmi asks how could she. Ishaani then adds that not just her, but she had planned to get her killed too. They are distraught. Ishaani then narrates everything that happened to her, and how she overheard her orders to the goons to kill her. They are shocked and bewildered beyond imagination. Anirudh says that he did what no Granny can do to her grandchild, and that she can't belong to anyone and be true to anyone, as she loved Ishaani all her life, and today tried to kill her. He says that he can believe it. Urmi asks why and if she hates her this much, that she wanted to kill her and even her child, as Ishaani is her blood too. Urmi completely breaks down. Ishaani says that they have no clue how she got out or else they wouldn't have had any clue what happened to her. She hugs her mother. Anirudh tells Damini that he has forgiven her all his life, but now the law will not forgive her, and ask the police to take her far away from their eyes, and get her punished severely. Damini eyes him venomously. he moves away while the police takes Damini, as she retreats while eyeing her house, away, Urmi bursts into tears. Ishaani hugs her mother.

In her room, Urmi begs for an apology to send her mother-in-law Damini into jail, as she never knew that she hates her so much, that she could even go to the extent of killing her. She tells Ishaan that she feels very weak right now, and desperately feels the need for him to be here, to support and get her out of this, had he been here. She breaks down into tears. Just then, Ishaani comes from behind saying that she is right here to support and assure her, her daughter, addressing her as mother, as her reflection silhouettes Ishaan’s picture, which Urmi eyes, as she looks up. Urmi turns towards her and hugs her. Ishaani cries too, apologising profusely for the years of hurting and torture that she out her through, and gave her punishment for the mistakes that she never did. Urmi makes her sit down, and then makes her understand that she wasn't at fault, in what happened, as her grandma had totally instigated her against her mother, and made her hate her own mother. Ishaani says that she should have understood, when they tried to clarify time and again, but she never made the effort. Urmi says that it's good that she realised, and once realisation comes in, the biggest of mistakes can be forgiven, and that what pains the mother the most is that the child hates the mother, but when that same child loves the mother, that makes her the most happy. Ishaani promsies that she would never hurt her again. Urmi hugs her, saying that she doesn't need anything, as she got the greatest gift in getting her daughter back. They both confess their love to each other. Urmi eyes Ishaan’s picture and says that she got her Ishaani back, and feels that he is too is somwehere near them.
