Wednesday April 11 Update On “Bride With Benefits” Episode 28-30

Gulkan try to sell the car and the buyer asks for the document. She takes it from dashboard and gives it to him. He checks and asks who Jogeshwar Prasad is. She points at her father-in-law and says he is the freeloaded Jogeshwar. Gulkan says he very cleverly to transferred the car in his name. The buyer says he cannot buy it from her and asks if Jogeshwar will sell it.

Jogeshwar starts his emotional atyachar and says it his a gift for his son by his in-laws and has emotional attachment, so he will not send it. The buyer says he will not buy this ligitation car and leaves. Jogeshwar thinks how to send Gulkan now before Bhuvaneshwar’s family comes. Gulkan goes inside the house instead. On the other hand,, Guddi asks Dev to wear her selected sherwani for tilak ceremony. He asks if Payal will like it. Payal is then seen engrasped in Dev’s thoughts. Neelu sees this, shooks her and asks if she is thinking about her brother-in-law. Their uncle, Guddan comes then with home appliances and tells Indu he brought what she ordered. She says they would have ordered it on the way. He says it does not matter either she or he buys it. Bhuvaneshwar says he cannot accept it. Guddan insists. Indu says Guddan is Payal’s uncle, so he has right to bring them. Payal thanks him and he blesses her. Payal thinks a lot of expenditure is happening in her marriage, she should give her saved money to her father and should think how to give it. Rajat comes and asks them to get into the car soon. Guddan, Indu, Rajath, and Bhuvaneshwar leave towards Dev’s house for tilak ceremony.

Neelu asks Payal what did she speak to Dev. Their sister-in-law Alka says once her time comes, she will know it. Neelu says just like her mother says she should think about her husband’s family, even Dev should think of their family. Payal says Dev is exactly like the life partner she wanted and as per her experience, Dev’s family is very good, she will considers them as her family and hopes everything goes well. Neelu says she is so good and everything will go well.

Meanwhile Gulkan asks her father-in-law why is the whole house decorated. He says it is Santoshi’s birthday today. She asks when her birth date itself is not known, then how can he celebrate it and asks what drama he is thinking of. Jaisal says Jogeshwar is a big astrologer, so he found it out. She sits on the sofa. He asks when will she go. She asks why should she go from her house and asks her to return her 1 crore ( 10 million ) dowry money and items she brought. Dev sees his kurta button missing and opens the door to ask Guddi to fix it. Guddi comes in, closes the door and in order to stop him from listening to Gulkan’s voice, she switches on the music. He asks why did she switch it on. She says it is celebration day today and asks him to change to kurta.

Gulkan tries to take all her belongings from her father-in-law thinking she is helping her brother, she gives her brought dowry item list and asks her father-in-law to return it. Santoshi gets Indu’s call and panics. She picks the call and Indu says she is on the way. She immediately tells her husband Jogeshwar that they have to go out. Gulkan insists her father-in-law to give her 1 crore ( 10 million ) and items first. Dev gets ready and asks Guddi to come now. Guddi gets nervous and asks him to call her sister-in-law, Payal. She herself makes a call and asks Dev to speak. She tells Payal that Dev is eager for his tilak. Neelu says even her sister is eager to meet Dev. Payal asks him to go for the ceremony and they will speak later. Dev cuts the call. Guddi tries to stop him again.

Jogeshwar holds Gulkan’s feet and asks her to give him 4 weeks’ time to arrange her dowry amount. Gulkan agrees. Dev comes down and Jogeshwar gets tensed seeing him.


Gulkan tells her father-in-law she will give him some time to arrange back her dowry, else she will come and take it herself. Jogeshwar says he told her he will return it after some days, else he will go back to his hut. Gulkan asks him not to make drama and takes the car with her. Jogeshwar irks, but Jaiswal asks him to calm down as his daughter-in-law, Gulkan is gone at last. Just then,  Bhuvaneshwar reaches with Guddan, Rajath and Indu. Jogeshwar and Santoshi greet them in and Santoshi asks them to have snacks. Indu says they will have it after the tilak ritual. Santoshi whisphers in Guddi’s ear to check what gifts they brought. Dev stops her. Bhuvaneshwar starts the tilak ceremony and gives them the gift boxes. Jogeshwar says he will not accept the gifts. Indu asks Santoshi to explain to Jogeshwar. Santoshi
takes him to a corner and asks him to grab whatever they brought. Jogeshwar says she is very cunning and threatened to kill her, then she can go up with these gifts. He says she should think big and thing of bringing working daughter-in-law with benefits soon. She says he is right.

Neelu tells Payal that though she is a working daughter-in-law and she should take leave for her honeymoon. Payal says she cannot. Neelu says she should at least extend her marriage leaves and says she should go to Kashmir, agra, Shimla, Kerala, then she will pack her tiffin, she and inju can go to nearby Tata Jubilee park. Alka who is hearing their conversation laughs.

Guddan asks Jogeshwar at least to take some gifts, but Jogeshwar still refuses. The servant brings tea. Rajath drops the tea on his clothes by mistake and goes with the servant Basanti to clean himself. He sees Jogeshwar’s picture and asks Basanti why Dev’s brother and sister-in-law not stay here and what is the problem. Jogeshwar comes there and asks him to ask him instead of the servant and says he did not hide anything from them. Bhuvaneshwar and Guddan come and ask what is he asking. Jogeshwar says Rajath is asking his servant about his elder son and daughter-in-law instead of him. Rajat who still suspects that Jogeshwar is hiding something and gets himself into trouble seeking answers as his father Bhuvaneshwar scolds him. Jogeshwar says he will explain to Rajath and says his son fought with him and left and he does not want to scratch his wound. Guddan says he already stopped Rajath, but he did not listen to him and asks him to apologize to Jogeshwar. Jogeshar says who is he to forgive and asks Bhuvaneshwar not to scold Rajath at home.

Then they all come down. Santoshi asks what were they talking. Jogeshwar says it is men’s talk and he will tell her later. Dev gives Indu a gift to give it to Payal. Bhuvaneshwar says they will leave now and asks Jogeshwar again to accept the gift. Jogeshwar picks a fruit and says he will keep it in pooja and asks the servants to keep the gifts back in Bhuvaneshwar’s car. Once they leaves, Jogeshwar and family relaxes. Guddi says he has to get a permanent solution for Gulkan.

Bhuvaneshwar reaches home with his family and tells Indu about Rajath’s mistake. Rajath comes there and she scolds him. Rajath apologizes. Payal asks her father to forgive Rajath as he is worried about her. Payal's father continues scolding his son. Rajath gives him money and says it is his gift for Payal’s marriage. Indu asks how did he get so much money. Rajath says he sold his and Alka’s jewelry. Everyone are shocked to hear this. His father asks if he has gone mad and asks him to take back this money and bring the jewelry back. Rajath says he wants to help him, but as he thinks, he is not capable, he just wants to help him in his sister’s marriage and he does not value jewelry and will buy it one day with his hard earned money. His father gets emotional and hugs him.


Bhuvaneshwar asking Rajath to take money and bring back the jewelry. He says he is confident that he will take care of his family. Rajath says he will bring back Alka’s jewelry but not his. Guddan gives Dev’s gift to Payal. Indu tells Payal they have to go on shopping tomorrow to buy her haldi ritual clothes. Jogeshwar meanwhile hires security guards to stop Gulkan from entering his house. Payal checks Dev’s gift box and finds watch in it. Dev calls her and asks if she liked his gift and says it signifies her good time. They both converse. Dev says they will again. Payal asks where. He says in dreams and cuts the call.’

The next morning, Payal reaches her office and sees Satish trying to hide a file. Satish panics seeing her. She asks which file is this. He says river bridge construction file. Payal asks him to bring it to her cabin. Satish comes there and says since she is going on vacation, she has to finish her pending work. Payal says she has to go on shopping in the evening, but then agrees for site visit.

The tailor takes Dev’s measurement. Dev asks him to bring the clothes on time. Santoshi scolds the tailor that he delayed the cloth delivery during Ayodhya’s marriage. Dev asks his father to call Ayodhya and Gulkan to his marriage. Jogeshwar says he will not. Santoshi says it will not look good without their grandchildren. Dev says he will call them. Jogeshwar say if they come, his marriage with Payal will stop. Dev insists to call them. Jogeshwar asks if he did not forget the insult they made and threatened Dev that if he calls them, he will see his dead face.

Payal reaches home late telling her mother that she could not come on time. She is surprised to see the clothes on the floor. Neelu says they knew she would not come on time, so she brought sari shop home itself. The shopkeeper asks her to select the dresses. Payal selects one lehanga, but looking at its price, she selects the cheap one. Her father comes to her room and says he knows she lied, so he wants her to give him the cheap lehanga and wear this costly one. Payal says she cannot overspend since he has to take care of Neelu’s education and marriage. He says even Neelu’s marriage will happen lavishly and starts getting emotional. Payal gives him FD receipt. Her father asks why did she spend so much money. She says she bought it for Neelu and convinces him to accept it.

Payal’s haldi starts with people applying haldi on her and dancing on song Tu Gaddi….song.. Dev’s haldi also starts. Guddi applies him haldi first. Santoshi starts her overacting. Jogeshwar says the whole society will be surprised seeing his son’s haldi. The actress Sanjeeda Sheikh dances on Gori Hain Kalaiyaa Mor…song, Rashmi Desayi of Uttran fame dances next on song…Naam Tera Padke…Naam Tera Padke… They both then start dancing together on fashion Khatam…..song. Gulkan is seen heading towards her father-in-law's house in car. Jogeshwar starts dancing with Sanjeeda and Rashmi. Other family members join them. Gulkan is then seen getting  down from the car.
