Tuesday April 17 Update on “Bride With Benefit” Episode 45-47

The episode starts with Dev while marriage rituals insisting Gulkan to call Gulkan. She informs natru/Jogeshwar who asks her to tell it to Ayodhya. Ayodhya is busy with his goons who say they have finished Rajesh and what to do next. He asks them to guard outside. Guddi informs him that Dev is insisting to meet Gulkan.


He says instead of solving problem himself, he has left it on him now. He asks her to tell Dev that he is waiting outside for Gulkan and once she comes, he will bring her. She informs Dev who says he himself will go and receive Gulkan, but Guddi controls him somehow. Natru asks Santoshi if she had thought she would see this day. She says they had to do a lot of drama for this day. He asks her to go home to greet new bahu once pheras start. Ayodhya comes in and signals natru that he will set the things right.

Power goes off. Dev asks to start generator or bring petromax at least. Indu yells that another abshagun started now. A person wearing colorful clothes is seen entering marriage hall with petromax. Natru asks to restart the mantras.

Payal insists Neelu and Alka to go and see the marriage rituals. They go out. Clourful clothes person enters her room and locks door from insists. Payal asks who is she. Person removes her cap and it is Gulkan. She says she is Gulkan. Payal reminisces Dev telling his bhabhi’s name as Gulkan and tells she knows her. Gulkan says she does not know her well and says natru and his family would have boasted them as too good and she as a villian, but the reality is natru and his family are greedy and con people and will ruin her life. Payal thinks she is lying and asks her to go from here. She says she knows she does not like natru and bhaktan billi, but they are against divorce. Gulkan says she came under natru’s trap and says they are too greedy and would do anything for dowry, they took 1 crore cash and truck full of goods from her brother, so she started troubling them and when she slapped Guddi, natru made drama and sent her and Ayodhya out.

Dev sees Ayodhya standing silently behind pillar and asks children to call papa. They go and bring Ayodhya to the mantap who sits next to Dev. Natru gets tensed and tells santoshi he wants marriage finish soon before his true colors are out.


Gulkan tells Payal if she does not believe her, she takes her children’s oath and says in world, no mother would take her children’s wrong oath. Payal asks not to take fake oath of her children to prove her words. Gulkan says she has gone blind and says she came to alert her, but she is hell bent to be blind. She further says that all car, house, etc are given by her brother. Payal says Dev told her already that Ayodhya wanted dowry and not her parents.

Another episode starts with Gulkan telling Payal that Natru/Jogeshwar this time planned big and instead of taking one time dowry, he selected service wali bahu. Payal says natru did not take even 1 paise as dowry. Gulkan says natru wants a service wali bahu who can give him every month dowry as a salary and the biggest secret is Dev is unemployed. Natru knows if Payal’s family knows about it, they will break this alliance, so he hid this fact.

Pandit asks to bring Payal for the marriage rituals. Indu asks Neelu and Alka to bring her. Dad asks to stop. Natru and santoshi get tensed that someone must have informed him about their plan. He says Payal is very competent and he is very proud of her, so he wants himself to go and bring her. Pandit says it is a good idea.

Gulkan asks Payal why she wants to be so dumb even after being so educated and continues that Dev studies in coaching center and does not own it, what will she gain if she tells truth and saves her, it is her wish now to continue the marriage or stop it. Payal says she does not know what to believe. Gulkan says if she thinks she is lying and taking her children’s fake truth, then she has one more proof. She shows a clip in which natru is confessing he needs service wali bahu who can earn for him whole life. He further continues that Bhuvaneshwar and family even after being educated are so dumb that did not catch his lies and dev being unemployed and easily agreed to get their PWD engineer daughter married to Dev, now he will reap the benefits hi whole life. Payal starts crying. Gulkan says it is up to her to stop this marriage and leaves.

Bhuvaneshwar enters Payal’s room to take her to mantap and sees her sad. He thinks she is sad about leaving him and says he never hid anything from her and neither she, so he wants to say that he got a retirement letter and will be retiring in 3 months. He wanted her marriage to happen before retirement and is peaceful now. He never liked bribe, side busines, dowry and hated them his whole life. He is happy that she is going to a well-educated, culture family who respects her values. If her marriage would not have happened, he would have shatter. After her marriage, he will leave peaceful life with Indu as Neelu is still young and Rajath has stargted working. Payal starts crying vigorously and he tries to console her.

Gulkan gets out of marriage hall, calls inspector and asks him to give phone to her brother. He asks when will she come back. She says just in a few hours. He asks constable to bring Mithilesh out and gives phone to him. Payal tells Mithilesh that she has done her work and now natru and his family’s problem will start. He asks her to come back soon. She says she will and thinks this was the trailer, the real film is yet to start. Now, marriage will not happen.

The episode starts with Dev and Payal marriage rituals. Dev dorns mangalsutra over Payal’s neck and applies sindhoor in on her forehead and completes marriage. Panditji asks them both to take elder’s blessings. They both take Indu’s blessing first, then Bhuvaneshwar’s and then natru/Jogeshwar and Santoshi’s. Natru asks Santoshi to go home soon and prepare for bidayi/farewell before Gulkan comes. He also asks Bhuvaneshwar to perform bidayi rituals soon.


Dev tells natru that Payal is looking very dull. Natru says girls are very emotional and are emotionally attached to their parents, so they get sad thinking of leaving them. He asks Dev to forget it and get ready for bidayi. Indu prays god to keep the newly wed couple happy forever. She then hugs Payal emotionally and asks her to take care of her new famiy well. Bhuvaneshwar then hugs her emotionally and tells she should always be courageous to win the battle of life just like truth.

Payal then takes Guddan, Rajath’s blessings and hugs Neelu and Alka emotionally. Bhuvaneshwar requests natru to take care of his daughter. Natru says he is not taking bahu, but daughter home. He promises that she will be happy in his house forever and she will take care of his house. Bidayi starts with Payal throwing rice behind while walking and looking at the whole house. Babul jo tune sikhaya….bidayi song….plays in the background. She repeatedly hugs Bhuvaneshwar who says she is lucky to have such a good new family and he wants her to keep that family united. He requests Dev to take care of Payal and forgive him if some mistake happened during marriage. Dev asks him to calm down and asks him not to worry about Payal. Natru gets restless and asks Guddu to sit with Payal and Dev in a car along with sonu/bunty. He greets good bye to Bhuvaneshwar and asks hi not to worry.

In car, sony/bunty ask Guddi why is chachi/Payal crying. Guddi says chacha will console chachi. Dev tries to hold Paayal’s hand, but hesitates.

In Bhuvaneshwar’s house, Indu cries vigorously and Bhuvaneshwar tries to console her telling that even he is sad that Payal left their house, but she went to a better house than theirs and marriage happened without any issues. Indu says she is worried about Payal. Guddan asks her not to worry as we all know she has gone to good house and he will keep a watch. Indu says even then, her heart is inconsolable. Alka tries her turn and says just like they both left their parent’s house, even Payal left her house and Payal will make her in-laws proud just like she made her proud. Dev will take care Payal well. Bhuvaneshwar says Alka is telling right, and just like Alka took control of our family, Payal will take cotrol of her family well.

Dev and Payal reach natru’s house. Sonu/Bunty happily shout that they came back home. Guddi says she knows and asks them to keep quiet. Natru asks her to call Santoshi. Dev says our house came. He promises that he will take care of her always and will not let her feel devoid of her family. Natru calls Jugnu and asks him to take the items in. Santoshi asks Payal to wear veil as her muh dikhayi and graha pravesh ceremony is not yet over. Neighbours praise natru that he got a well-educate bahu. He asks them to get in and finish graha pravesh first. Santoshi asks Dev to bring Payal in first. He opens door and asks Payal to come out. She sits silently. He insists and takes her out. Jugnu drops item by mistake. Ayodhya tries to hit him, but Dev rescues Jugnu. Ayodhya says Dev protected him and asks him to pick goods and get in. Dev introduces Payal to Ayodhya and Payal is shocked to see the same goon and reminisces the incidents. Dev takes Ayodhya’s blessings and asks Payal to take his blessings. Payal stands still in a shock. Dev insists and she hesitantly walks towards Ayodhya and touches his feet. Natru and Sanotshi grin seeing that. Ayodhya blesses her. Natru asks them to come in and signals Ayodhya.

Santoshi performs gruha pravesh of Payal with aarti and says she got a laxmi in her house and asks her to get in by kicking kalash in.

Precap: Neighours tell Santoshi that her bahu is very beautiful. Gulkan enters and says she does not have any intelligence though.
