Fatal crash claims lives of worshippers returning from night vigil in Azigbo, Anambra State.

A fatal crash has claimed the lives of church members returning from night vigil on early Thursday morning at Azigbo road in Nnewi South L.G.A, Anambra state.

About 4 passengers reportedly died at the spot while many sustained various degree of injuries.


The accident was reported to have caused a gridlock along the highway as the victims were evacuated and taken to the hospital.

An eyewitness said the crash occurred by 4:30 am due to brake failure.

The pastor of the church, Chinedu, popularly known as "Ekere Oru Eke" could not be reached when contacted.
