Easter: Make the interest of the nation a priority – Anambra Speaker urges Nigerians

The Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly Bar. Rita Maduagwu has urged Nigerians to make the interest of the nation a priority in all their endeavours inspite of religious and political differences.

In her Easter Message, Bar Maduagwu noted that Easter offers Nigerians the opportunity to reflect on their lives, adding that since Jesus triumphed over death, Christians are expected to overcome corruption and other social vices.


The Speaker urged Political office holders to take a cue from selflessness and sacrifice made by Jesus for he salvation of mankind by eschewing all forms of religious, political and social vices in the interest of peace and progress of the country.

While wishing Ndi Anambra a happy Easter celebration, Bar. Maduagwu to show love to one another especially the less privileged and continue contributing to the good governance of the State.
