BREAKING: House of Representatives Summons President Buhari over Benue killings, others

The house of representatives has summoned President Muhammadu Buhari over incessant killings in the country, TheCable reports.

The president was summoned during plenary on Wednesday.

The lawmakers asked the president to appear before them to give reasons for the killings and to brief them on the security situation in the country.


Fulani herdsmen have reportedly killed over hundred people across the country since March 2018.

On Tuesday, the rampaging herders reportedly killed two Catholic priests and 17 worshippers at a church in Benue state.
